How Will Julius Randle & Obi Toppin Split Duties at PF This Season? | New York Knicks

They should. Randle is a better passer, shooter and more well rounded. Toppin is stronger, more athletic, fantastic in transition and hustles. I would also argue Obi is a better defender in the paint. Both guys are good players and there are certain situations in which one guy is better than the other. In some matchups in which they play either smaller or less athletic lineups I can see randle and Obi playing on the floor together.
to me, this SHOULD be one of coach thib's best years, IF he can find the right combination of match-ups. he has a lot of players to choose from now, so he doesn't have to burn out his starters
YOEERRR.. SALUTE GENTLEMEN THE OF #MSG @WALLY @ALLAN AND @BILL šš¾ GREAT JOB AS ALWAYS GUYS.
Obi cant get under 20 minutes a game this season.
The millon dollar ?
randle has to improve his 3pt shooting or forget about it. he doesn't get the ball as much but he still holds it too long when he does. obi is not as good a rebounder but gives up the ball quicker and runs the floor better. they actually compliment each other well.
