Wright showed the most promise in preseason out of all of the training camp invites and he takes the 2nd two way spot after Dorsey; there’s 1 more open main roster spot left which if reports are correct will likely be filled next week
They also signed Grant Riller, presumably so they can cut him tomorrow and send him to the Legends.
I hope they get Gueye and specially Bingham to the Legends. Yada yada, Dorsey shoots well one every blue moon, I would much rather try to develop the 7’0 C that is already a good rebounder and shows high floor-stretching potential than sign a 0.99 store THJ to the other two-way deal.
With that being said, I’m glad we signed Wright. Showed a lot of poise and court vision. If he can become a better defender – size withstanding – and find a way to become an average shooter (doesn’t even need to be from the distance, Brunson got his bread and butter in the mid-range), he will be in an NBA roster sooner rather than later.
