it's all good learning lesson but Cam I don't know yet and IQ take too much shot

D Rose was missed tonight with the 2nd unit. They played a majority of the 4th Quarter and gassed out. Cam showed us last year what he can be when heās playing with confidence so itās crazy us as fans are adding so much pressure on him. Heās a good piece for this team
Hartenstein SUCKED
My takes from the game;
Quick needs to have better shot selection it was terrible and feels like classic quickley, needs to chill.
Felt like Brunson was forcing attacks at the rim occasionally.
Cam seems in his head but I have faith heāll find his groove.
Just the whole bench had zero flow to their offense and were getting flustered from Indianaās defense.
Not sure if Camās two turnovers passing to Hartenstein were even bad or if it was on Hart.
Mitch grabbed offensive boards.
YIKES BENCH!!!! Very porous defense from the subs. I'm not happy with IQ and Deuce or much of anyone else on the second team. It almost feels as if they got cocky. I didn't see the fire and desire in them. If they play like that, there goes my 45+ win season. This is a 'clean slate' year for me. I want to see how this goes. I don't know if it is my emotion or what but we should never lose to the Pacers this year. I wasn't very impressed with RJ's defensive intensity either. Every team is going to go at Fournier. That young kid just kept running past him and breaking down the defense. They were not hyped tonight. Bad effort.
(NY) Pressure is on for Cam. But there's one more preseason to burn unless Thibbs starts to get disciplinary and elevated it like regular games. I say let the guy get his burn, before you throw him 10 min purgatory. Let him show you that he's worth at the minimum 15 minutes.
This preseason is about Tom expanding the rotation. So we don't repeat the chronic issues of compounded fatigue and stagnate/imploding offense and costly defensive slip ups.
It would not make a great first impression for the season. Since we fought tooth and nail against hypercritical cynics on mainstream & social media.
Let's move forward ice bruises and take it as a growing experience. One more pre game before, the opening against Memphis.
I always thought that mitch not having even a 5ft jumpshot made in harder for julius. I swear if mitch gets a little jumper him and randle could smack down low.
Disappointed but think the result is skewed because of the Knicks not playing starters for a heap of the 2nd half.
Ny knicks was missing drose another problem we have a super fast young team we need to play them more
this is reality. they need Drose in that second unit as their court general or even in the first FIVE. the value that their missing is the COURT GENERAL that Drose gives just by his presence in the court. IQ is a 2. so decision making will not be his fortei. duece is not ready yet. meaning DUECE will be the 3rd guard of the team. we all know that Drose make everyone better around him and he makes everyones life easy. for CAM he will play better with Drose. remember this statement. CAM will play a lot better with Drose. to have a SOLID team overall we need everyone to step up.first five in my opinion. brunson RJ GRIMES randle mitch, second unit > Drose IQ CAM OBI harkenstein/SIMS. sims is a lot better to be paired with ROSE and the second unit. 3rd guard mcbride and wing fournier. thats what i observed and thats what they must do for them to succeed.
I kept hearing how Hartenstein was such a good defender before he got here, but all I've been noticing is him getting cooked all game long. I checked the post game stats and he totaled 0 blocks & 0 steals.

This coach is going to be a problem his poor rotations his lack of creativity and the fact that his stubbornness to play hid young key players any significant minutes. It's going to cost us games watch when I'm telling you.
Really dissapointed in Immanuel Quickley. It looks like he's playing selfishly just from outsider looking in these past few games. Not like him.
To me I feel like itās the New York Knicks and cam reddish, he gets no plays set for him and once he touches the ball itās just iso and quickley is just a ball hog to me and he only passes to obi in the second unit
I think weāre reading too much into these preseason games.
Repost: Is it just me or do the Knicks offense still looks like Thib, tired, lethargic, and old with zero flow? And IMO IQ is just a over-hyped chucker who looks for his own shot 95% of the time he have the ball. You ask can the Knicks be a playoff team, and my answer is: Thib's coaching + Thib's offense + Randle's Randle-centered game + IQ"s selfish IQ centered game + Cam's "non-fit", lackadaisical / non-desire to play as a "secondary role player / rotational player" in a Thib's offense game = an under five hundred team! I'm not too worried about the game and I think Randle looked good again and Hartenstein was sharp passing out of the post but Cam as usual gave me heartache with his too passive /too aggressive play and he's a master at the one great play then six bad play game and , the guy gotta figure out what he wants to be in this league sooner or later or he'll be playing in China.(on a lighter note, your hair keeps getting darker and your beard keeps getting grayer)
