Yeah Draymond is getting traded either mid season or next off season after he picks up the option

28 other owners aren’t gonna like this.

    Ballmer will though

Joe Lacob boutta start working part time

[Just two dudes getting paid, spoke it into existence!](https://streamable.com/kshny3)

This team’s gonna be generating enough money atm for luxury tax to mean nothing to Lacob, but owners (and me, fuck it) are gonna be butthurt 😭

  5. Contracts aren’t lingering anymore I guess lmao

Bob Myers: “The luxury tax is unfair and should be changed!”

Also Bob Myers: Signs $252 Million away in a day.

You could almost buy a team with that payroll.

What’s that drop to if Draymond gets traded after the upcoming season?

  9. Kwilly462

Honestly, Poole and Wiggins getting their payday is way better than any suspension Dray could get lol

  10. Spec1alistInFailure

I hate the Warriors but I you gotta give credit to Lacob for putting his money where his mouth is.

  11. Does this mean draymond gets traded? Because that’s a lot of money

  12. DaKingindaSouff

Why do y’all think Dray getting traded or leaving? Warriors will find a way to keep him

drays choices next season probably gonna be:

    player option

gsw offer something like 3/60 or 4/60

open market something like 3/75 or 4/80

  14. Midtownpatagonia

Hot take but i think both klay and draymond gets traded

  15. lawyerlyaffectations

I mean, what’s the point of even having a salary cap if shit like this can happen.

  16. He’ll have to cancel his netflix subscription and stop eating avocado toast

  17. Is there any way to know for real what the Warriors make (with merch, concessions, tickets, etc) vs what they spend? I truly wonder if they make a profit/break even?

  18. The Warriors drafted their core. I can’t hate.

  19. craigslistaddict

they saved $47M compared to the worst case scenario (for lacob’s wallet)

  20. v0idington

W’s fans pretending Joe Lacob is hard up lol

  21. Just for everyone who doesn’t see what this means: to match salaries, they’ll need to trade Draymond THIS YEAR for an expiring + picks to save about $100 million next year. Has to happen before this year’s trade deadline to avoid the hit next year. Best they could do next year is take on 80% of his salary, which would still involve tons of tax.

Dang, gotta start making coffee at home now.

  23. A lot of people here can fuck off lol. Almost everyone here was shitting on the Warriors for trading for him and shitting on Wiggins for most of last season until the playoffs. Now they’re acting like keeping him makes things unfair.
