Once player played for their contract extension, they’ll ended playing like an average player. No players shouldn’t be playing for any hometown discount or else they’ll trade you away in a year or two.
Klay is the one who is going to go to another team or take a significant pay cut to stay. They paid him all his money when he was rehabbing. I expect they expect a hometown deal in return.

Lacob OWNS the Chase Center and his team is winning world championships. My guess is he is printing money right now, so half a BILLION dollars to put this team on the court is money well spent. That said, it is criminal that teams are taxed for KEEPING players they drafted. They haven't BOUGHT a championship… they've drafted extremely well and developed players who can perform at the highest level. They shouldn't be taxed simply because they do this better than anyone else.

What a turn of perception for Wiggins over the past 3 years! He went from people thinking he had one of the worst contracts in the NBA to having one of the most team friendly. He went from unfulfilled talent to pivotal championship player.

Why does everyone think that signing Wiggins and Poole makes it harder for Draymond to get an extension? There’s nobody that contributes what he can on the court and behind the scene. One he still can opt in for one more year then after that who knows how they can create room.
Andrew Wiggins went from not being worth a “bag of chips” to securing a bag and a chip ayeeeeee
Steph’s super max plus these two deals. Even that would be too much for some teams to take on. Then you add Klay’s 40 mill, Drays 20+. Wiseman is on about 12 with an extension due next year. Moody and Kuminga will be extended a year later to very possibly more than Poole and Wiggins. Then Baldwin is up. This is simply not sustainable unless they cut the cord on Dray and Klay. Poole will probably be better than Klay by the end of this season and Dray is just flat out not worth keeping at the expense of the young guys.

In my personal opinion I believe you're spot on with the 4 year 115m for Poole after they won the ring that was close to the number I was thinking with all the other signings goin on but with the draymond drama I think go over paid to make sure he stayed but I'm thinking he would've resigned for 4 years 100m prior to the punch
