The Raptors shocked us in the last pre-season game of the year, winning against the Boston Celtics in overtime. Scottie Barnes and Og Anunoby were the two stand-out performances having an impressive first half. Some players on the chopping block got to play out most of the 4th quarter and overtime.

Bro i was at the game. It was so entertaining! Scottie balled out. Disappointed in precious and our defense on three point shooters but overall great result. Bro i swear idk what happened when tatum got ejected. All i kept hearing was technical fouls. Heard like 6 of them hahahaha

I'd been saying all the time whenever FVV was injured or shot less other guys stepped up and can have more touches to be a better player. Barnes & OG had a great game when FVV didn't jack up 3s all the time (especially when he's cold) and set up guys.
That was not an amazing win, that was a preseason game that Boston didn't seem to interested in winning in the second half.
However there were a lot of good things to look forward to. Ill mention one team play, Its all about the team it doesn't matter who scores as long as they score by sharing the basketball.
Is like saying Raptors play better without Pascal and Jr.
Let's be honest the refs bailed us out whistles were in our favour. Technicals called on grant Williams and Tatum tossed from game. They were getting a ton of open corner 3s and fast break points. We didn't rebound free throw misses on a couple occasions that led to easy baskets. Raptors rely heavily on points in the paint. We are playing an old school style of basketball because we lack the shooting. It's not every game we'll get 12 more rebounds than the other team or get 16 more team field goal attempts. That seems our only way to victory right now.
