Andrew Wiggins and Jordan Poole both received 4 year extension from the Golden State Warriors. The Warriors have the team locked up the next 4 seasons. Draymond Green however still is without a contract and the Warriors I believe made their decision.

I’d take a punch in the face for $140 mill. Draymond and Russ will be playing in China in a couple of years. Draymond will opt in next year. He’d be crazy not to but I do believe that the Warriors would like him to just go away.

Draymond has a player option next year. The Warriors were never going to work a deal with him before next year, they had said that all summer and Draymond knew that. Draymond will have to play this year like the DPOY candidate he has been in the past and show that he is still the guy who makes everything work while trying to fend off a hungry and dynamic looking Kuminga. That player option is big and not a lot of teams have the space to add his contract and if they did they would want draft compensation.
Dray isn’t going anywhere.. Wiggs already took a paycut, next in line to do so is Capt Klay.. only if, Dubs made it back to back! my2cents 🤔

Now next yr Dray will be extended. There is no way, they let dray Go. He is a complementary player to steph. Steph and klay became more lethal because of dray. And no warrior players right now that plays like dray. Like he is the only asshole player in the warriors and that makes him valuable to the warriors. Plus he is more valuable right now coz the warriors are having a transition, from core getting old and teaching their young core. And dray will be the one up front to that!!! I enjoy watching Wiggins, he’s a good player and seems like a really nice guy. Good addition to the Warriors family. Plus as a bonus, I don’t expect him to sucker punch anyone.

It was the right move. Green has become a very expensive liability for the team. He just crossed the line too many times. It's time to part ways to this champion and start building the future for the Dubs. Miami can use Dray.

You said it yourself…no one is paying Dray what he wants exp MAYBE Detroit and he aint going to Detroit unless its his final swan song. So Dray will end up opting in nxt szn and re up before his contract is up. And anyone who thinks Dray aint STILL a key piece to this team winning Championships in the past and in the future I think are waaaaaay undervaluing Dray. Is he as good a player maybe not be still def just as impactful. Dray makes Steph's job way easier AND just last szn we were a .500 team w/o Dray leading up to the playoffs.
