  1. Oh shit – I seriously thought we would have waited until the end of the season. But it doesn’t sound like a crazy amount so I am glad about that. At least we can feel more comfortable with him playing for the team rather than having to show himself more for a contract

  4. I would’ve waited and let him hit restricted free agency. I don’t think any team would have given him close to this much, even if he did have a good season. But Shams’ tweet indicates only the first season is fully guaranteed, so I’m fine with this. I’m still not sold on KPJ being the best backcourt pairing for Jalen’s development, though.
