Silas does some questionable stuff with his rotations sometimes but all the players love him, and he like genuinely loves them back.

I remember him saying Harden vouched for him to get the job before he left even though he knew he was going to – he leveraged the Rockets wanting him to stay to get Silas the job before asking for the trade.
Damn that’s heartwarming, hope KPJ keeps his head on his shoulders
He might not be the greatest coach but he’s an awesome dude. Hope it works out for him in Houston

I wasn’t expecting to be getting emotional at 12 but here we are. I really hope the rockets do well next season.
KPJ is not the thug that this sub thinks he is. We’ve been watching this man turn his life around in Houston. Couldn’t be happier to have him locked in for a few more years here.

He was a well regarded assistant with the Warriors for those years. It’s great he’s found a place he can flourish as a HC.
Silas hopefully stays as the coach thru this year and is the coach at the beginning of next year. I think that’s when the rockets have a squad that can rlly compete to get a play in/off spot and I would love to see Silas as the coach of a competent team
