Giannis on retirement: “I want to disappear…You see MJ, you see Magic, you see all these all-time greats that retired but people still follow them…I don’t know if I can do that. I want to be like Tim Duncan. Where the hell is Tim Duncan? I don’t know where Tim is. I want to be like him.”

Isn’t Tim coaching in the league? I thought he was an assistant with the Spurs?
Kind of unrelated but once Kawhi retires ain’t no one ever gonna see him again.
Texas, I’m assuming
MeSPN: Giannis calls Michael Jordan an attention whore.
On the bench of the spurs lol
He’s in disguise so maybe he just never noticed
Gotta be honest I don’t see it. I think Giannis is way more charismatic and extroverted than Duncan. I’m not saying Giannis is going to be like a big celebrity or anything but it takes real dedication to just fall off the face of the earth like Duncan
MJ is actually kinda like that too. People were shocked when he showed up at the 75th anniversary.
Giannis gonna doordash everything he just like me
He’ll disappear and then Alfred will see him in a European cafe and all will be well
maybe if they called charges and travels on him instead of giving him special treatment we’d see less of him too
Giannis is like the only person who could replace Chuck on tnt, so I hope this isn’t the case.
Wasn’t there a post of this comment like 2 weeks ago?
Is it just me? Whenever I hear Giannis speak, I can’t help but think that his accent sounds like someone faking a vague foreign accent. Maybe I don’t have enough exposure to Greek speakers, but it just sounds so… universal? Generic? Can’t put my finger on it lol
Isn’t Tim Duncan Spurs assistant coach?
“OMG he’s so humble when not being a dirty player!”
*camera pans to the crowd of reporter where Tim Duncan is standing wearing a “hi I’m Tim Duncan” t-shirt.
*Duncan is looking directly into the camera with a dumbfounded expression.
Another reason to love this guy
I like Giannis but the man love being in the spotlight and interact with nba fans and the community/players. I don’t see him going the route of Tim Duncan and will stay in the nba scene post retirement
this is the way
Best joke from the last thread:
“Where the hell is Tim Duncan?” – Spurs fans when Rebound Bosh happened
Dwayne Wade on retirement “I want a lot of attention, so much eventually when I go away people will rejoice “
Protect this man at all costs
