Anything can happen at the start of the season but it wouldn't surprise me if the home team comes out victorious.

Isaiah Joe's contract with OKC is fully guaranteed at 1.836 M for this season (standard for a Vet Min with more than 2 yrs experience) with no guarantee for future yrs. That is better than expected, as he won't be cut and will get a chance.
No way to trade for a big contract like Crowder or Gordon.
They would require sending out multiple contracts which would further deplete the roster #.
There are not feasible combinations to trade for them.
It was mostly Harden who wanted Gordon, but he has little say right now. And it was already reported there was little interest in the malcontent, Jae Crowder. Crowder wanted a trade because he lost his starting position.
Morey has to pray that there is no serious injury. If there is there is no telling what it would take to get a replacement. Morey always evaluates team in early Feb. to see what the weakness is. It could be backup Center.
So it is false to claim in advance what Morey is going to do.

Regarding Thybulle, he has become the most misrepresented Sixer,.
Fans were thinking of him as not even worth his 4.4 M contract.
Now it looks like the Sixers were indeed offering a significant contract extension, but his agent rejected.
I would have offered 7-9 M X several years.
There is no doubt that Thybulle outperformed PJ Tucker in preseason and it wasn't close. I presented the numbers. Thybulle, looks much different as I recorded the games and focused on his plays.
In EVERY case, the opponent closed out on all 11 of his 3 pt shots (still made 4).
The Thybulle haters would not discuss his Eurostep drive and basket, which he added to his offensive game and his improved handle.
I don't doubt that Tucker will start early in the season, but between need for Load Management and Thybulle becoming a 2-way player, Tisse will end up getting his starting position back before long.
Hope Tucker can make an impact, but I'm skeptical. Tomorrow will be a real test.
