They are thinking about small ball because westbrook have shooting issues and he is not improving it. He's also lazy on defense. Trade wb asap
put AD on 5 but they need to play another wing player like wenyen or JTA
I like the 3rd lineup best. And don't like Russ & LJ playing together – bad for both of them.
They essentially have three guys for every position, so they could have three lines and like hockey, play a fast-paced, up-tempo game and sub in five guys at a time for four minutes. Everyone plays, that way and everyone will complain about getting more minutes but this is a better way to use all the talent they have…and they have a lot. Go Lakers!
They need to go big, they'll overwhelm other teams if they go big. 3's would fall as long as they establish their inside game

They have a crazy net rating with Ad at the 5. They should play him at the 5. If you're going by preseason, I wouldn't worry about rebounding with both Davis and James averaging double rebounds. They have both committed to beasting on the boards.
Giving hundreds of Millions to Westbrook is no point and embarrassing to watch.. Lakers should get rid of him asap.. His contract worth is too much, why Westbrook can earned so much money and got more than Lebron is also Insane but in a worst way.. I want to know whose idea to trade for Lakers for So much much money.. Let go off him and invest in some young talented Players..

We need as much size as possible, to defend the players, perhaps a zone defence will help with playing less switchable players and I believe we have enough high IQ players to play a solid help defence in zone.
With A.D. at the 5, the Lakers MUST commit to rebounding in order for this to work. Otherwise, it'll be Frank Vogel all over again.
I like this lineup. It's a little small, and questioning HBK's defense a lot, but it's very high energy, and the spacing would be nice. It would be nice if the roster was a better constructed. Anyways, we should get this win if we keep the energy we had during preseason despite only winning one game. Gotta play more defense and play together and smart if we want to win more games. We have a hard schedule with tough teams. I like AD at the four but having him at the five gives me security for depth.
Starter: Nunn, AR, LBJ, AD, Thomas Bryant
Bench: Pat Bev, Walker, JTA, Weyen, Damian Jones.
If opponent have bigger SG, then swap JTA into the starting SG position with AR as bench SF.

I love Russ coming off the bench. This will give the bench a big boost and allow LeBron to run the first team. I am a little worried about Walker being in the starting lineup because he has missed a lot of the preseason due to injury. Personally, I would like to see a starting lineup of Beverly, Nunn, LeBron, AD and Bryant. Of course, LeBron would be the primary ball handler. Beverley, Nunn, AD and Bryant would set the defensive tone right out of the gate. Plus, all of these players are capable of knocking down long range shots. My second lineup would be Russ, Walker, Reeves, Gabriel and Jones. This lineup would be very quick on both sides of the ball. This lineup may lack long range shooting. However, it makes up for it when it comes to attacking the basket.
At some point during the season, I would like to see a lineup of Nunn, Schroder, Reeves, LeBron and AD. This would leave Brown, JTA and Matt Ryan as our situational players.

I don't think they understand that starting lineup play the whole third quarter. With that lineup they can't rebound or shoot decent from the three. So that starting lineup suck. They need Nunn pg and Walker at 2 guard.
