Coach Ham maybe right with the adjustments we all know russ is a ball dominant player but a turnover specialist lol so bringing him off the bench maybe can help them with ad and bron resting but I doubt it will be helpful bcoz of their lack of catch and shooter and 3D wing player
The Lakers' "bubble" team didn't have a whole lot of three point shooting, and it had even less playmaking off the dribble. Offensively they relied heavily on skip passes and lobs from LeBron as the primary PG. Those plays allowed less-than-stellar players to have success, since they were so wide open. There's no reason why this group can't replicate that success. Jones and Davis are excellent lob threats, and there's no reason to think Walker, Reeves, Beverly and Nunn can't replicate much of what Caruso, Green, Rondo, and KCP did. Notice I excluded Russ, because he is, IN FACT, the Lakers biggest problem.
I'd trade russ for some bench 3 point guys at this point. Dennis and Pat Bev are much more serviceable as guards

I fell bad for Russ. he just isn't the man he used to be. ive been saying for years though, he needs to spend about a good year or so with D Rose, learn how to change with the new tools he's been delt, and go on a BIG OL HUMBLE DIET! 👍 or…. just like many NBA Stars before him, watch his NBA career die… (Most notably, A.I. it's actually quite insane to see a career go almost the exact same way.) it really makes me sad to see this.
But either way, if Russ changes his style to better fit his age, and the ever growing NBA, or If he continues to try and play like a Star, while he physically can't, and mentally frustrates himself into making dumb plays that just put him into a quicksand situation. The man deserves RESPECT! He has always been a good man, always made time for fans and especially kids and as someone who lives in Oklahoma, i can tell you that he always was nice, respectful, and understanding when it came to fans, even when they lost.
Even at his worst he could still beat 99.9 percent of you trash talking fools.

it has become more than obvious that the Lakers need a rebuild after the era LBJ which after all should come fairly soon. When LBJ does not deliver at LEAST a finals participation to the Lakers, they cannot afford to keep him, nor AD.
