Need to trade kuzma imo. Giving him 20m a year after this season would be a mistake. Feel like rui can replace most of what he gives

Also beal needs to just stand in the corners in crunch time

  2. Pathetic effort from Beal. The turnovers are so stupid it’s aggravating. Say he has an injury and sit him next game.

  3. Dreamlion_Inc

We’re really about to start a 7 losing streak journey aren’t we?

  4. whicheveryoulike

Just let KP play more and give him the ball

  5. TheBeastman34

Mightā€™ve been the scariest thing Iā€™ve watched all Halloween. What a nightmare

  6. pen-h3ad

I donā€™t think itā€™s an exaggeration to say that we lost this game because of Kuzā€™s decision to go for a reverse dunk down 1 late in the third quarter.

The team immediately collapsed after Kuz missed the dunk. It lead directly to a 3 for them. 5 point swing. They went on an 18-2 run directly afterward.

  7. summahofgeorge

Iā€™m gonna be so sad when KP dips, heā€™s the only watchable part of this team

  8. Breaking news, loser franchise with a loser culture continues to suck

  9. Oh and honorable pathetic effort mention for Gaff. He did so much nothing. Can’t rebound, got his shot smashed in his face, no blocked shots, just a big ol nothin.

  10. socialist_butterfly0

The end of the third with gafford making mistake after mistake buried us. Couldn’t dig out. And then brutal Brad turnovers down the stretch. I actually think the bench looked better with Deni, he had more of an opportunity to play make, and Gill filled in fine starting.

Just a total bummer of a game though, WUJ’s offense is just uninspiring. Is it cause he has to accommodate Beal? Someone smarter than me please help.

  11. i_will_mull_it_over

Wizards Black Friday sale , everyone must go

  12. initialsori

decent close game until the 3rd when the bench + beal lineup came in. gafford minutes have been brutal lately and a stupid dunk by kuz. also not sure what the defense scheme is that ends in an open 3 on every other possession.

KP has been good brad has to step up. the 4Q turnovers from him always kill us

  13. Extent_Thick

I just donā€™t understand what weā€™re doing out there offensively or defensively. Do we have plays?

  14. imagine how much promise this team would have if we traded brad for a few high first round picks and still had kp, kuz etc. this team would have a genuine path to being a contender instead of constantly being on the hamster wheel of mediocrity

  15. apkm1234

The way WUJ treated Rui tonight was embarrassing. Kuz and Beal can do whatever but Rui gets overlooked even when heā€™s hot and playing hard on D. Itā€™s truly embarrassing. Add the fact that he was blaming Deni for his entire team horrible defence against the Celtics. Just wait and watch how they shit on Kispert as well. Such a ā€œvetā€ friendly franchise.

  16. TheGreatTurkules

Itā€™s kind of embarrassing that weā€™ve been TRYING to win for the past 3 years and the highest weā€™ve gotten is an 8 seed šŸ˜. Something gotta change itā€™s not working.

  17. If Beal isnā€™t gonna be playing efficient offense and stop turning the ball over, the next 5 years are gonna be even more depressing than it already looks to be. And Kuz is the same, no consistency and that missed dunk on the fast break was the nail on the coffin. KP didnā€™t deserve this

  18. Another year of simply existing. No direction. No upside.

  19. pen-h3ad

KP needs to be the number 1 option going forward. At least late game, if not the whole game.

  20. TheBeastman34

Why arenā€™t we starting Rui and giving him these Gill minutes? I feel like Rui can be that guy for us, we donā€™t need to keep doing this game of rotating bench players into the starting lineup. All last year we did this and it got us nowhere. WUJā€™s rotations stink on ice

  21. acosmichippo

are they really going to be WORSE than last year?

  22. SmokeEater757

Can you imagine a dude that makes 250 mill and just passes the ball to a better scorer? Worst franchise in the league, easily. Orlando has exciting talent, Houston, spurs are well coached, Detroit is on the upā€¦ā€¦..and what are the Wiz?

  23. Dreamlion_Inc

KP is gonna dip, Kuz is gonna go somewhere else, and we’re gonna have another offseason where the team is “trying to start new”. This will happen for another 5 years while a sea of gold/purple, green, red/black, and gold/blue will cheer at Capital One.

Ya’ll have fun this week I’m gonna stop watching for a bit

  24. onigami_los

KP played his ass off shooting 58/42/100

  25. ElectricalCow4

We deserve a new owner. A new GM, a new name, new colors, new everything. This franchise continues to impress for all the wrong reasons.

  26. RubberFistOfJustice

I swear to god by the end of the week weā€™ll still have people say that Beal should be our primary ball handler

  27. Kyle_Clashes

Can anyone explain why the bench had such a negative “net points” effect for someone who didn’t get to watch the game?

The bench produced -62 net points tonight….

  28. Mdawgfrazier5

Those are horrific star lines from Gafford and Deni

  29. MegaSupremeTaco

There’s a ton of blame to be thrown around for these 3 losses. It’s gotten to the point where some people may need to be traded at some point in order to salvage a good season.

A lot of fan favorites here are simply not up to the task of playing nba level basketball. Brad’s been terrible with the ball in his hand at the end of games and yet we won’t let Morris (who we traded for) bring the ball up even though he’s very secure with it in his hands. Bad offensive sets and weird calls to double guys that don’t make a ton of sense.

If they want to win games then they need to consolidate the wing position and get a guy who is much better than what we’re getting at the position right now. WUJ has quickly lost a lot of good will I had for him for his inability to get guys into their spots on offense. Deni/Rui both look lost on opposite ends of the court which was shown by that 18-2 run. Neither are playing particularly well and it’s year 3 and 4 for each of them respectively.

I love Kuz but he’s just not been good enough on either side of the floor to justify his antics as of recent.

Flowers to KP who has been as advertised through the start of the year. Also give flowers to Delon Wright who was apparently the key to the wizards success lol.

  30. Expensive_5963

Kuz getting benched was funny af after that dunk attempt. Reminded me when lamelo tried something similar and got benched too

  31. DollarLate_DayShort

Silly me. I thought since Embiid sat tonight, weā€™d have a chance.

  32. pen-h3ad

So many of our key players are so inconsistent man. Some games Deni looks like an elite defensive player, sometimes heā€™s a liability. Some games Beal goes from 30/7, some games he shoots 30% and has 3 late game turnovers. Kuz either shows up and scores 20+ and plays great defense or you just never hear his name called all game and he misses a reverse dunk down 1 late in the third. Gafford comes out and scores 10 and 3 blocks in 10 minutes sometimes and others he comes out and gets absolutely destroyed by a player 6 inches smaller than him.

  33. WatermelonMan921

Should of traded Beal after Trading Westbrook when Beals value was At it’s highest and rebuilt.

  34. ElectricalCow4

Let’s just start the fire sale early. Thanks to Ted and Tommy, we can now pay Beal 250 million dollars to serve as our tank commander. And the way he closes games, he can def secure us some more victories.

  35. JayJax_23

Itā€™s not ideal when your 2 recent top 10 picks arenā€™t in the closing lineup and losing minutes to Anthony Gill

  36. Please blow this team up. We need to start over, we’ve been saying it for years smh

  37. Comprehensive-Ad-489

Deni with the -12. Bring that same energy.

  38. Megumi-Noda

I would look for a way out of this garbage of a franchise if I was Rui and Deni

  39. I gotta be honest man, I think itā€™s more coaching than personnel. And clearly this group of guys isnā€™t perfect but I really canā€™t imagine the constant same problems not stemming from poor coaching.
