Kings won me money again. The line was-1 last night and I jumped all over it. An hour before game time it was -4. I didn't watch or follow it that much but looked like Davion Mitchell stepped up to the plate after Fox injury.
Imglad Davion showed his mettle. They're hollering, trade him, because he's in a rookie slump. Hell, so is Jalen Green. You think they wanna trade him? Davion is better starting and handling the ball. Kings need another big guy with some dawg in him to protect the rim. Been screaming it. Kings need to figure out why some of these guys won't play intense defense every game. Very impressed with Kevin and I love the dawg in Dellavidova. @Jmo

i thought that this game was over at half and the tank for victor stuff was gonna be full front page news in town. But this team fought which was something that could not be said about previous kings team mitchell huge fantastic win
You called it Matt, Sabonis is seen as an anchor defensively as being the PF playing center. Again I see Kings fan overreacting that Mitchell, HB and Holmes are playing badly. I remind that these three players are very professional and they are learning their roles in Brown's new system. Right now Fox and Red velvet are the primary shooters on the Kings right now. Using Sabonis as a facilitator like Vlade was in the 1998-2003… Rebound, set the high screen on high post plays and make good passes to shooters or take it to the basket (hopefully without the Vlade flop). Lyles looks like a better consistent shooter than TD is but I still think TD is more skilled but because I think brown wants more spread out shooters TD isn't really needed for slashing or creating in space. But if it's working don't change it. P.s. Davion isn't a play maker passer like Haliburton is. This is why we let Haliburton go for Davion's defense and potential to be a two way player as well on offense. I don't think the Pacers do the trade if it wasn't Haliburton and Heild. If it was Davion and Heild the Kings would have had to offer a first rounder too. Look at what the Pacers are doing now using Turner and Heild and probably leveraging for big trades back.
Great second half from the Kings! Davion really stepped up, and Huerter is still shooting lights out!

Dellavedova step in for Fox’s injury and did well, tenacious defense with some good passes, and a 3 that turn Kings 2 points ahead. He deserves the 8 minutes he played tonight.
I feel we may need to trade Holmes for a different back up big because he seems to be lost at times on both ends and that doesn't really help when your starting big man is consistently in foul trouble. When Mike Brown went with small ball 5 Trey Lyles that was actually more impact full than going back to Holmes.

Love the way Coach Brown made a good adjustment. Liking him here in Sacramento. Also that defensive play to create a turnover on the inbound at the end of the game. They had really good defensive movement there and was created by Dellavedova
Gosh, I hope the kings fans see what I've see in Davion all this time. Kyle Lowry. Fred Vanvleet. Tyus Jones. These guys are small but THEY'RE JUST ALL TOUGHNESS AND HEART.
Is Davion a long term starter. I don't know.
I do know my guy Davion shows up when he gets minutes. His favorite player is Jrue Holiday. I've been saying trade Fox (for a perimeter wing player or shot blocker). Just start Davion. What Davion lacks in size, he'll make it up with toughness and heart. Give Davion help on the perimeter.
Davion ain't going to shoot that ball 23 times. Davion won't be averaging 24 plus points a game. Davion will always make the EXTRA PASS. He'll always look to set up his teammates first. He'll always be the hardest working kings player. THAT'S CALL ENERGY.
With fox out, "the leader/kings best player" title goes to sabonis. I like sabonis. He's not great in the paint defense but THAT'S WHY PERIMETER DEFENSE is so important. Just trade Fox for better perimeter wing players.
And Davion, that guy is just TOUGH. His teammates will play harder because the smallest player is playing the hardest. INSPIRE THE TEAM.
Fox can score. Great. But Fox doesn't dive for loose 50/50 hustle plays. Davion was on the floor what felt like 10 times. That creates ENERGY.
