Kevin Durant and Brooklyn bounce back, Nets beat the Pacers

Adam Armbrecht is in following the final buzzer for the postgame LIVE on YouTube discussing the Nets win over the Pacers.
Following a rough start to the season and embarrassing loss to Indiana on Saturday night the Brooklyn Nets came out with the focus, energy and demeanor of a team that knew it was the more talented squad on the court… but did they get the win?

  1. Worst we played all year literally and still tied you all up with 5 minutes to go in 4th quarter after being down 24. Looking forward to the games in INDY.

  2. Joe Harris & Yuta Yatanabe defense was absolutely amazing. Especially Harris oh my gawd! Glad the team showed more effort this game, hopefully they do the same tomorrow.

  3. I agree about Simmons they should let him come of with the 2 unit until he gets back to 100%. He's clearly isn't himself. Ik we hate being patient but we gotta do that for Simmons. Especially coming of of a serious back injury.

  4. Maybe, in this game, the Nets discovered that they add by subtracting. By not playing Ben, everyone else will step up their game. Joe Harris will never have 3 steals and a block in a game again. (That's not tongue in cheek. lol)

  5. Ben looks happiest when he's dressed in street clothes and cheering on the sideline. lol. There's no way he would be in the starting lineup if he wasn't into the Nets for $113 million dollars over the period of his contract.

  6. If the Net don't, at least, make it to the eastern conference finals this season, I'd feel just as good if we fired Marks and Nash, don't resign Kyrie, Curry, Morris, TJ Warren, and trade KD and Harris. A tender spot, in my heart, want KD to finish his career with a title contender.

  7. Kyrie's antics came about only after he became very rich and as American novelist F. Scott. Fritzgerald said, "the very rich are different from you and me."

  8. Have to play KD + Kyrie 40 minutes each to beat the tanking Pacers at home. Absolutely inexcusable coaching. I was hoping they’d lose so we’d get a better chance at Nash getting canned. This win almost feels like a loss, at least to me.

  9. Unleash the Claxton😎💪🗽. He was having so much fun out there. Big turn around from last year

  10. Look the Nets had a lot better look without Simmons. You can't have your primary ball handler not being able to shoot open shots. When you're open you have to take the shot. Simmons is a major liability. In NBA 2022 if you don't have the confidence to shoot an open shot you could be out of the league. The only reason they put up with his sorry ass is they have a lot of money vested in him. Replace the entire front office.

  11. Ben Simmons contract needs to be negotiated downward. He simply is not worth the money he is making in comparison to his performance. The owner needs to get with agent and offer considerably less. Cut his salary in half and give the remaining monies to the other players who are performing

  12. I’m glad the Nets got the W. I thought Harris and Claxton both had great games. KD was KD. The Nets put more effort into defense, got some good blocks and steals, but their D still leaves much to be desired. I’m waiting and hoping Simmons can get his game back to all star form. Can Nic play like this with Ben on the court? I’ve reached my tolerance limit for drama.

  13. Tonight will be a test to see if they can maintain their focus and intensity. Some guys played a lot of minutes and it’s a back to back. At least it’s a home/home back to back…no late night flights.

  14. Why is it so common for nets fans to just always talk trading their guys? That’s one of the reasons they’re the worst fan base in the nba
