We all knew the Donovan Mitchell trade was a boon for the Cavs the minute it happened but its worked even faster than maybe we all expected. Maybe we should expected it to work faster than we all though given his skillset, but man he is just what the Cavs needed. The biggest thing that sticks out is his playmaking. Kicker is…Darius Garland has played literally four minutes because of his eye injury, and the Cavs are still 5th in offense and 2nd in defense.
This is definitely not the final version of this Cavs team, and even when they get Garland back, they can get even better, which should be a scary proposition for the rest of the league.
