Heck no he doesn’t need more help stop the narrative. He just got Christian Wood and now Hardaway is back. Luka has historical usage because his game is predicated from on ball screens until he gets a mismatch. There is nothing wrong with that playstyle but that explains his usage rate

They Need Role Players That Excel At They Roles
they literally wont run an offense without him touching the ball. the offense is designed for him to score or get an assist on each possession .. when he doesnt get either he just stands there on the wing. he doesn’t set any screens he doesn’t have any offball movement. the luka fanboys dont want to hear the truth but he is part of the problem. get other people involved but he won’t because he wont get his numbers. he dropped 30+ in the first half against magic and his teammates wasnt even hyped or congratulating him on the way to locker room.. they know the system only allows him to eat
Luka Doncic needs another guard with defensive capabilities but reliable on offense as well… ironically, Jrue Holiday would be a perfect natural fit… he doesn't need a big man with All Star status… he has bigs and wings very reliable… but Hardaway and Dinwiddie will never reach that Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday status… maybe wait for Shai and possibly Jaylen Brown in the future…

Luka needs more help, but his teammates need to play better. Reggie, Dorian, Maxi, and Javale started the year off terribly. The first 3 are still bragging about making it to the WCF. Javale is still bragging about his 3 rings. It’s time for the team to start playing, including the coaching staff.
