  1. as a grizzlies fan, it’s strictly dependent upon if EVERYONE is healthy. we keep seeing how much everyone plays a huge part on our success. Yes Ja is the biggest piece (playoffs against GSW showed his importance) but we need everybody

  2. In terms of making a deep playoff run this season, has to be the Grizz. Portland is still very young and regardless of how much success they have during the regular season, they will have to take their lumps and learn how to win the biggest games with their season on the line this season in a playoff series. The Blazers youth and inexperience is basically what gives the Grizz the edge over which team is more likely to make a deep playoff run this season. That being said though, I now like Portland’s roster construction better for the long run. They have taller/longer more athletic finishers around the rim, defenders and rebounders. I think Portland’s roster is deeper with really good young talent and it has given them some trade capital. If the Blazers can gel and develop and get their rotations down…. and most importantly stay healthy, I think they are 1-2 moves and another season or so away from being legit contenders moving forward. The Grizz though are in a better position to make some real noise in the playoffs this season, however
