  3. mattman1777

Ahh there we go back to a bit of reality lol

  4. LurkerFlash

Did something happen to Sochan? Why only 9 minutes?

After tonight, have a feeling any little irritation is gonna result in a DNP for Keldon. A nasty case of Wembenyamaitis.

  6. Smellmyhand

That’s a good little wake up call. Gonna see a lot of that over the next two weeks

  7. Tonight one was: How not to play bball… #GSG

“We aren’t hoopin” – Vassell, Devin (from the multiverse)

Not surprised about the loss, but it was nice to see them have the lead for a litte bit after that bad start

Like Al Pacino says to Adam Sandler at the end of Jack and Jill… BURN THIS.

Let’s Pretend This Game never happened lol

Joking aside this was a relatively predictable result and at one point it almost felt like the Raptors were kind of maliciously picking on and obviously outmatched Spurs team in that third quarter. Length is the Great counter for ball movement and if there’s any team that has enough length to counter the Spurs motion offense it’s toronto. Factoring all the injuries and this seemed like it was going to be a rough night.

A few positives. Kbd continues to be a really solid contributor despite his Limited skill set. He really has settled in as a hustle and Corner three specialist and I’m all for it.

His shooting was not there but Malachi Brandon did a solid job when thrust into lead ball handler rolls in my opinion. He showed me something there and if San Antonio wants to give him a bit more responsibilities and not Department I wouldn’t be against it at all

Charles Bassey was definitely the highlight. It was against deep reserves and in the most garbage of garbage time but I thought he really stood out on the court with his size quickness and skill. I’ve sang his Praises as a prospect before and I’ll reiterate this is a guy who was considered one of the top recruits in college basketball at one point. He had some real bad run of luck and a bit of an outdated game but he’s an extremely talented player. I hope San Antonio views him as a long-term development piece because it could be worth their time.

I don’t want to focus too much on the negatives but it has to be said even with all of Toronto’s length this was an incredibly sloppy game for the good guys. I thought a lot of the veterans had really bad nights and it all trickled down from there. For as good as Jacob has been all season this is one of the worst performances he’s had in a long time. Maybe going back to Winter at the end of last season. I think he really struggled with Toronto’s swarming help defense and made a lot of uncharacteristically bad decisions with the ball. Richardson McDermott and Jones all also had moments between forcing shots and hesitating on open drives due to Toronto’s length.

The good news is all losses count the same and this year in particular losses aren’t necessarily the worst thing. I expect the team to look at lot sharper in the next game particularly if they get a few guys back

If we win, we winning the chip.

If we lose, we getting Wemby.

    I love this season.

  13. Archercrash

Got free tickets to the game, glad they were free. Yikes it was painful after the first quarter.

  14. xChainfirex

If it makes you feel better Toronto dropped 139 points (prev NBA season high) on Atlanta’s head this past Monday and they only scored 9 more points than the Spurs. What would it take to convince Pops to give back Poeltl to Toronto?

I hope you guys land Wembanyama!

  15. Tanking isn’t for the faint of heart. Raptors did what they were supposed to though. Can’t wait to see Keldon and Vassell back on the court together though

  16. Imaginary-Cycle-1977

Line on this was somehow only Toronto -7

GSG but this was maybe the easiest bet I’ll cash all year
