We actually won the battle on the boards but just too many missed shots-especially in that abysmal 3rd Q. And Smart kills me. I love the dude’s defense and ability to make game changing plays, but he also takes some horrible
shots-like the one in OT with like 28 secs left. Also JT got us there, why not go to him in that last possession? He struggled scoring but he really helped us with his blocks and rebounding. If the Cavs stay healthy they are going to be no joke and a definite threat for East Conf. champs. An entertaining game but also exhausting and frustrating…🤦🏻♂️☘️🔒
Horford playing 40 minutes isn't on Mazzula that's on Brad Steven's not making a move to add anyone that can ay in the front court besides a bumass Blake Griffin and Kornshit who can't even close out on perimeter defenders smh meanwhile Dwight Howard who can still put up a solid double double up with high efficiency is sitting at home smh

Its just a bad matchup for us. Their size in the frontcourt is just like the Bucks, but what makes them different than Bucks is the Cavs' guards are quick as fck. I know we have the DPOY, but Smart is known for his versatility, not for staying against quick and crafty guards with unlimited range (e.g. Curry, Trae, Garland, Mitchell, Lamelo, Hali). Anyways, we still did a better job in this game. Can't wait for Rob, without him, Celtics are just a playoff team. With him, Celtics are a juggernaut.
Until Boston gets a big.. my expectations are low.
As they are currently.. they're playing good, even when they take a loss.
Boston will get better when Rob Williams returns but .. without help this type of game.. this type loss .. is going to happen.
