  1. I don’t watch or follow the Cavs much is he a decent defender ? 🤔 If so Cavs got something going here with this squad fr especially with Mitchell down there now

  2. It’s early don’t give my cavs any pressure. Give them a chance to keep growing and building! I’m so proud of them!!!!

  3. The ONLY turnover he had was a TERRIBLE (BOS, TOR, GSW and PHI always get calls) offensive foul call. This guy had 2 18 assist, 0 turnover games last season.

  4. DG=this era's Nash….But, he also has a little CP3, a little Tony Parker, a little Sam Cassell and he is the 2nd best PG jump shooter….2nd only to Curry, and it is CLOSER than people think.

  5. The Cavs dont struggle on perimeter defense. People predicted they would because they never watched them. Garland has NEVER been a terrible defender. Stats CAN lie, especially in smaller sample sizes at the beginning of someone's career when they have another player on their team the same age playing the same position.

Garland was arguably the best perimeter defender in this game. He is TOUGH mentally and physically, he is always in the right spot, he is longer than expected, stronger than expected, had very quick hands and feet and he has elite instincts.
