Charles Barkley is right, the team and the NBA missed their chance to act. Now it looks like they are reacting to the uproar. Also, the suspension is meaningless at this point – you still have Kyrie coming back after this the same as before. At this point, the only way for the team to go forward is to find a clause in the contract that they can use to release him outright.
