Better in transition, better at taking open shots, better moving the ball, and an understanding that Maxey should be #1 scoring threat because he takes the least effort to get to his 30+ points.

If we run less postups from high midrange and focus on heavy PnR this team is dangerous. I don't like embiid dribbling the ball from midrange to get a shot off. I prefer if it was deep post in the paint

From Matt Barnes’s reaction to the Udoka thing, I think there’s more there than just a consensual affair. His initial reaction was like yours, but he said someone in the know set him straight. He seemed shook by what he heard. He said it was “100 times uglier” than the reports.

What scares me is that Udoka is actually a damn good coach! He managed to get the Celtics to the finals AND managed to SWEEP KD and the nets. Udoka might just be what the nets need. It’s gonna come down to the players taking accountability and putting their ego in check. To that I say… good luck hahaha
We were 2nd in half court offense in the first 5 games. But we getting destroyed in transition defense because of Joel unfortunately. Since that bad start, the games that Embiid missed, we were 12th in transition defense instead of 30th when he plays. As as result we've only given up 105.8 pts per possessions in the last 3 games, which ranks 3rd across all teams. Overall, were 29.1 pts per 100 possessions better in transition defense when Joel doesn't play.
So again, what we need is for Embiid to focus all his energy on defense, and let the offense come from Harden and Maxey running the show. Embiid will definitely still put up 20+ but we don't need him doing post ups every single time. It will save energy and allow him to be better defensively.

You know the guy that you personally and narcissistically take credit for the moves you agree with or give them to his staff, and blame him for everything you hate. As if he didn't have plenty of good games with Isaiah Joe. Joe can't even get on the court with OKC, the least talented team in the league .
