He can only offer defense and offense on the fast break. The second he gets into the half court he just passes it off and stands near the rim. I’ve never seen a player not even look at the fucking rim on offense. Ben has little to no value.
Ben Simmons doesn’t have any trade value because he has 3 years, $113.68M left on his contract and he’s putting up Draymond numbers (6-6-7) without the 1st Team Defense. His PER is ***9.6*** right now, and for those of you who don’t know that means that he is considered a “fringe roster player” (9-11 PER).
To say that he has no trade value is honestly an understatement because the Nets should be looking at someway to buy him out and offer him like $80M to leave the team after Kyrie & KD leave.

Honestly can someone tell me where all this hype for Ben Simmons ever came from? I’m not trying to throw shade, but he has always been overrated in my eyes from the beginning of his NBA career. For someone who was always mentioned with Giannis and LeBron due to his height and passing ability, he never lived up to that potential. Now that he is petrified to shoot, I don’t get why we bother talking about him so much. Hell Ben might be better off if we just treated him like your average role player on any team.
