  1. Seems like Kerr is still figuring out the rotations, unfortunately none of the youngsters are giving Kerr much, so he's still searching. Donte out is hurting the rotations too though.

  2. Kerr is NOT behind the sidelining of Kuminga. In fact, he was convinced by Draymond to give Kuminga his starting position when he went into back rehab– and enthusiastically announced. But apparently he was faced with a revolt from Poole and a faction in the org that coalessed around JP being the one featured in the starting line-up. Kerr was in a battle over this but lost and that was why JK was never fully developed as a defensive stalwart last year. Result is JK never had the intensive integration with the the core game and still has weaknesses on the floor with the team and very disgruntled with how he was treated.. Wouldn't be surprised if the Dubs loose him. Last year the Dubs choose to develop the offense with Poole, but then could not hold onto OTTO or GP2 who were a big part of team cohesion and defensive resilience. JI was the best option for deep integration on the defensive side, was not developed. Now he still requires reps, reps and more reps with Curry and the core, but that will take much of the season. Draymont's strategy of having Kuminga develop in his slot when he was out. Did not happen and now JaMychal is now being groomed for that role.

  3. The Warriors should trade Kuminga. They are trying to develop too many youngsters at once. Kuminga, Moody, Wiseman and not to mention Baldwin and Rollins.

Poole developed because the Warriors weren't contending and Klay wasn't to take minutes away from him. They have never been able to develop a big except Looney.

They should pick 2 maybe 3 youngsters and trade the rest.

  4. Think of the Boston championship series before Gary Payton returned. Then Gary Payton returns and Steve kerr says "The series changed when Gary returned." the problem with the warriors is the new defensive identity was Gary Payton and now your faced with the reality of you need a Gary Payton like defensive person in order to be as good as last years championship team or what you'll have is the Boston series before Gary Returned.
Als, as Monty Poole said, Gary Payton changed games and he changes teams. People keep downplaying not resigning him but the reality of that mistake is coming to fruition. You will all soon see. How quickly people forget. Gary Payton would of made two steals in the clutch and we would of won.

  5. Hey Cyrus! Good to see you here on YouTube-now that I’m off of Twitter. It is time to worry a bit now. These are new bad habits forming a new expectation of not being able to win.

  6. Although a bit concerning I'm not going to hit the button until we reach 25 games.
Although I understand the need to sign Poole I wanted to wait 2 month into the season. It was the same with Wiggins but he gets my pass because he took much less.
People keep on harping about Poole going into the starting line up but it had been known until Curry retired or get hurts he LEADS the second units and right now how I'd that going?
When he can really show to lead how can fans think about replacing Klay.
As players have said there is a system in place hopefully Kuminga comes around. Kerr had shown he can be predictable and stubborn having assistant like Walton and Brown might have kept him in check both gone!
Not sure what is going on with Kuminga but at this point playing him more might be for the best but suggestion to play him at 5 is a joke. He isn't a 5 and never going to be a 5, as people say play him my feeling is same with Wiseman.
Kerr, needs to adjust whether they continue to lose.
I believe he is in the dog house if it wasn't for the Green and Poole incident footage getting out since then debugged the organization the rumors aren't getting out.
Fix it before Curry burn or hurt himself.

  7. What’s so hard about it? Bench the guys who are making all of the fouls and turnovers. Put the rookies in the game – they can’t do any worse. If Wiggins had made that bunny layup the Warriors would’ve won the game.

  8. Is it possible the Warriors had one too many bottle parties in the club/streets? That eye of the tiger is not there plus the Warriors are putting stock in Poole, Wiseman, Kuminga and Moody to be major contributors and the replacements for Curry, Klay and Green. I cannot see that happening. I also think the younger players might not be ready for the grind of having to repeat because everybody is going to bring their A game against the champs.

  9. Demarcus cousins is way more valuable. He can still be high point man, he blocks a lot of shots and can shoot the three.

  10. No need to panic, we are giving everyone a taste of the NBA, when they get back home they will show everyone what time it is. Steph is still balling, Klay is getting back on track, the Dubs will get real and start kicking butt, with or without Draymond doing his part on Defense. He has let the DOG inside of himself go for a walk. What happened to the Tech's he would get every other game? We need to start Wiseman, get JK on the floor, give Moody more burn. Play more D, and go to the hole on O.

  11. Dwight Howard just said he has a high interest in joining the Warriors and mentoring James Wiseman.

James Wiseman is good but he is coming out of Injury and 4 Straight Loss shows the Warriors isn't going to be in the Finals this season.

Zaza Pachulia said the Warriors is doing just fine without him but 4 straight loss shows they aren't doing just fine. Lol

  12. I dont agree with Cyrus al teh time, but hes spot on about kuminga…. I am frustrated and going crazy over it as well. Kerr is trying play Daddy to kuminga, punishing him for being a bit sour. this isnt college ball.

  13. It's easy guys… Kuminga hasn't played well. Doesn't play well with the starters, doesn't play well with the bench. The Warriors as a whole was much better last year and there was no film on Kuminga. Now, folks know his game and that 1 spin move ain't going to cut iy

  14. I think of last season and how bad that looked at times. Sometimes it seems they try to play as bad as possible.- except Steph who's setting up for more records and MVP. Wiseman lob timing is off and his offensive rebounds are ?? turns at the basket & starts heading back…..Hello – grab the ball, make some points!

  15. Kerr couldn't even answer when they said kuminga lmfaoo this dude needs to quit, jk will never reach his potential under Kerr because he hates him and doesn't want to use him the way that makes him most effective

  16. I think I know what JK did. I wasn’t at chase but I saw him pointing the rude finger to a team mate on live tv

  17. At least we get to watch Curry play. He is ridiculous this year he's not even the weak link defensively in my opinion. He's been holding his own. I'm just going to enjoy watching them play and be grateful they have won 4 chips in the last decade. Pluse Thompson Green and Curry got a few more years no matter what happens this year.

  18. Sorry, love the show but hard to focus…fustrated is not a word. In the name of all that is holy…it's FRUSTRATED. Thanks.

  19. One issue not really touched on here but others have pointed out is that Wiseman doesn't really fit the Warriors system as a big. The Warriors have always leaned on high iq bigs that are somewhat switchable who can pass and set really good screens. And not light screens like what rim runners do, but solid ones.

Wiseman is much more of a rim protector and rim runner archetype. So he's struggling somewhat in the Warriors system on both ends. And I think this kind of applies to the young core as a whole. They aren't the same players as the vets, if they are going to play them out there together as sort of their own unit – which they kinda have to, the young core makes up nearly all of their bench – they'll almost need a different offensive and defensive system more tailored to their strengths.

Not the easiest solution, but this is also the reality the Warriors have to deal with anyway. The Warriors system has been built on three unique talents in Steph, Klay, and Draymond that they won't be able to just swap out.

Oh and Kuminga's minutes might be low because the minutes he has played have been very not good. Which applies to everyone on the bench, but it's possible Kerr is just trying to figure out some configuration of bench players and starters that isn't a six lane pile up of a disaster

  20. Steve Kerr knows what he must do; CHANGE his mind, change to the rotations that work, and put a fire under people who are too comfortable regardless of their status or tenure.. The team is not listening to him or the coaches because they continue to turn over the ball, fail to communicate a switch, set poor screens, do not concentrate on free throws, switch because they are out of position, dribble too much, fail to block out the nearest player to improve rebounding, and foul because their overall attitude is we are alright.
Drills collectively should include passing the ball without a dribble for twenty-one practices and watch the improvement. Punish every player who dribbles first before looking for the open man with a full sprint around the court. Watch carefully and observe how the Warriors make circular passes back and forth a lot when facing quick players. When facing a zone defense there is only one person moving through the zone rather than having multiple slashers cutting the baseline, wing, corner, or guard to the rim.

One player example: "Wiseman is awful offensively because he does not know what he must do. " Wiseman sets poor screens that leads to poor floor spacing", and please, stop making excuses for him publicly. Wiseman's left-handed only defense leads to touch or hacking fouls; he should use either hand and stay on the balls of his feet for balance and agility to end his one or two step late defensive movements. Wiseman leads with his left foot forward and all the players in the league are attacking his poor positioning.

Fouling is usually a sign of fatigue or poor man ball orientation and the Warriors are woefully doing both at the worst times in a game. It is not one player it is all of them doing the same thing defensively then point a finger at the other guy.

The Golden State Warriors techniques defensively, techniques rebounding, techniques setting screens, and man ball orientation needs serious twenty-one day attention. THE WARRIORS ARE PLAYING WITH TERRIBE HABITS! It takes twenty one days to break a bad habit and seven iterations or less to create a bad habit. Coaches must forget feelings and prepare their team for success. Jonathan Kuminga is only one player with bad habits on this team. Stephen Curry made two bad passes down the stretch and both stolen by Suggs. Each situation was shown as brilliantly done by Suggs, but the real reason is because of a careless bad habit by Steph.

The Warriors miss Mike Brown and the assistant who followed him to Sacramento. Their replacements are not getting it done! The Warrior players are very talented but need direction, purpose, fairness, and critiquing that is objective from the COACHES teaching them.

  21. They are fine……they just need the 3-5 seed and need to do the best they can t limit their starters minutes and lean on the young guys it is ok'

I personally want to trade Kuminga and JP for Mikael Bridges

  22. Trying to develop too many young players while the season has started they may want to look at trading some of the young ones for veterans players.

  23. Idk about you guys but the “ panic” button is getting close to being pushed. Im not seeing an improvement nowhere. We gotta dig deep and figure out our direction. We are focused on developing young guys while trying to win a championship. Those are two completely different task that don’t complement each other.

  24. If kuminga was in the game would have been worst…he just isn't smart…the warriors have been built off of really smart players….the bench is young and dumb… lol

  25. Sign my boy Dwight to a vet’s minimum while Curry still a superstar. Probably x5 in Luxury tax but Wiseman has no interior presence he big for no reason. Poole gets beat on drives at least Dwight might be able to defend the paint better.

  26. The comparison with Franz isnt good Cy, he played against grown men over here in Germany, like Luka for example who played against way older people since he is 14. Kuminga does not have this under his belt. Wagner just came over to the US to increase his draft value but college competition was way too low for him.
