Well there may be a bit of a bad taste in people’s mouth after that terrible fourth quarter I actually thought this was a really good overall game and outcome for everyone.
this team just continues to play above its Talent level. At first glance this Clippers team without Kawhi Leonard may not seem like much but if you really look up and down their roster they don’t really play a single below average guy in their entire rotation. They’re extremely talented. If Devin wasn’t on a minute’s restriction good chance we make this very interesting
Devin May legitimately have go to scoring potential. His release is just unguardable and he is starting to look confident and sure of himself on offense. I also thought Malachi looked really good despite not hitting shots. Jeremy had a tough first half but in the second half he was pretty impactful on defense and made some really good passes. This was maybe Trey Jones best game of the season. Oh and Doug McDermott is very slowly becoming one of my favorite spurs. Such a smart guy on offense and he’s been really busting his butt on defense.
On a brief negative side the Spurs may need to slightly adjust things with how they run the half court offense through the big austrian. This was the second game in a row where the opposing team very deliberately swarmed him in the post and sped him up and he struggled mightily. I trust him too figure it out though he’s a smart guy. Also man Richardson was really bad today
Lost a tough game but held our own and got our two guys back healthy and one of them just continues to show signs he may be something really special. good result all in all and on to the next one
Watching this post game and Devin is such a likable dude
Adding Scoot or Wemby to the Vassell/Keldon/Sochan core is gonna be whack.
Dude Twitter has such bad takes 😂 everyone is complaining talking shit about Devin not playing at the end but they don’t realize he’s on minutes restriction because he just came back from AN INJURY smh
