I teach boxing out to my 7 year old teams… every session… trying to set the habit early. The fact college D1 players don't all the box-out habit already makes me wonder why our coaching community has so much trouble. Personally, boxing out was something I never had issues doing.. helped me stay on the floor as a defensive asset.
All of us fans should hear this quote from Coach A, "You have to play with what you have." Lots of us fans wish for what was. Gotta live in the moment. What was, you don't have again. This is how Coach A has been, and is, so good. He works with what he has, and he makes em better.
