We need to learn how to close games better. We were up a possession with the ball under 25 seconds. You cant blow games like that. Energy to start the game was lacking. My biggest gripe is not going to Zion at the end there but I dont hate the BI play. Oh well into Indy

Against the Jazz we potentially had the final posession but CJ threw it away. Against the Lakers we miss a needed FT and play shit defense on the final play. Today we had the ball up 2 in the final 40 seconds and dribbled the clock out to a bad posession (with 2 Timeouts). Team could easily be 8-1 but we’ve shot ourselves in the foot each time, whether or not we fix this will shape our season. All these games we made comebacks and we need to start finishing the job.

I’ll admit I didn’t pay full attention cause of the LSU game but some thoughts:
Pretty ugly game overall, props to the Pels from coming back down 13 with about 3:30 left but couldn’t close it out. Looked like a young team playing a 2nd night of a back to back.
BI had a really rough shooting night. Also no FT attempts with 23 shots
Zion had a monster 4th, but his defensive lapses and 6 turnovers contributed to the deficit.
CJ had a nice shooting night but too much tunnel vision and his defense was also a problem.
TM3 only had 3 shots and missed them, but still would like to see more shots from him.
Too many for me to count missed layups and free throws.
23 assists in 53 minutes seems a bit low too.
Onto the Pacers.

All I know is we aren’t starting 0-13, if Willie could figure it out then why wouldn’t he be able to now? We can’t be that impatient when we were literally one of the worst teams the majority of last season.
All of these errors can be fixed. We looked super gassed early and you could see it affecting our defense and turnovers.
