– Besides the Los Angeles Lakers and Brooklyn Nets who have been the subject of NBA trade rumors, could the Mavericks make a trade with teams expected to be in the bottom of the barrel of the NBA standings like the Charlotte Hornets or the San Antonio Spurs? Josh Richardson trade rumors have heated up over the past couple of weeks.
– 2023 NBA free agency is still a while away, but who could the Mavs be looking to sign next offseason? Could Myles turner, who grew up in the Dallas-Fort Worth area come home? Ross is the sort of sniper and bucket better that could work well in the offence… LeVert only if we deal Dinwiddie.. If the FO is aggressive enough they should be looking at OG Anunoby, he is the perfect foil for Luka and also Dinwiddie

Put Wood at the 5 and Lauri at the 4, I think that's enough size to defend the paint. Mavs issues last year was mainly rebounding, Wood can rebound plus add a 7footer that's certainly going to help. Plus Wood is a bucket and Lauri is proving to be bucket this year as well who can play off of Luka but more importantly they can get their own buckets if needed!
I just think we really need to improve the wing since offensively Doe, Reggie and Maxi haven't been hitting their 3s and they're not talented enough to score on their own.
I think if Bullock and DFS could give us 12 each with solid defense, Spencer gives us 20, Wood gives us 23 and Luka gives us 30 8 and 9 and we get something from the others, we could be a title team.

Dallas Mavs has a very good line up of young, fast, shooters and coachable players with a very good coach in JKidd.
Is there is any one thing the team has to work on, definitely it's all about improving defense, defense and defense. Before the end of the regular season, the Mavs shall have outclassed all other teams thru team work and player chemistry. A legit championship contender !
Is it possible to bring back Wood and also sign Middleton next off-season?
Our plan should be 100% focused on executing trades to the best of our ability. Even if we have the best player in the league, I am less than 10% confident we would be able to sign our 1st choice in Free Agency in any summer, based on the last 20 summers. We are always competing against 2-3 other teams when we really want someone, and 'the other team' always seems to have an intangible we can't match (Brunson – Dad in NY… DeAndre — too tight with CP3/Blake… the list goes on and on). I know this sounds like defeatism.. but I just can't rely on FA as a means to 'get the main guy we need'.
I'm curious what happened to the daily videos and this episode seems old. DP has already started games.
