Dejounte Murray added 22 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists, his 18th career triple-double and first with the Hawks, in the victory. CJ McCollum (29 points, 10 rebounds) and Zion Williamson (29 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists) tallied a combined 58 points each for the Pelicans. The Hawks improve to 6-3 on the season, while the Pelicans fall to 5-4.

I wouldn't be surprised if Jalen Johnson finds a starting role by the middle of the season, especially if John Collins can't produce points when he is getting 36 minutes a night which he did in this game, Jalen Johnson is just as tall and can do everything John Collins does, but Jalen is a better passer, defender, and ball handler than Collins is.

NBA schedule makers hate the Pelicans. Every year starts out road heavy. Only had 3 home games so far and this was a back to back. Props to them for almost pulling this one out.

Atlanta Hawks is a dangerous nuclear submarine that nobody notices how dangerous they are now.
Fans seem to forget that the Hawks were in the ECF just 2 seasons ago. This team added quite possibly best 2 way guard in the league. Murray is a stud.

Pels didn't shoot well. If Ingram or McCollum shot their usual game, the Pels win in regulation.
A competitive game, both teams never gives up! But the big difference aside from Ice Trae is Dejounte, his been an avalanche of this team. From one play to another, his relentless performer..he might be a defensive player of the year 🤭🤭.. Zion is a force inside as he used to, he's got more power to go when season going on and playing healthy.. 👊👊 What a game.. 🤗🤗👏👏
