if I had a nickel for every time this season the Grizzlies had a giant lead and completely lost it via not playing basketball at all and just standing around while Ja runs full speed at a giant 7 foot tall man risking injury and missing a shot 10 possessions in a row, I’d have 2, which isn’t a lot, but it’s still pretty fucking frustrating that it’s happened twice already…although not that surprising since it happened like 20 last year
and mfs gonna talk about “people on this sub whining about Ja doin too much” bruh the broadcast spent like 20 minutes doing it too so eat my ass
if Brevin and Pete can spend the whole half criticizing the shot selection and injury risk and fact that it gives a team that’s getting blown out a chance to win for the 2nd time in like a week, you can bet your ass imma mention it too
that said ez game ez life, and it sucks that the second game of b2bs keep being against the fucking hardest teams on the whole schedule lol

When Porzingus hit that three on Adams at the beginning of the game I was internally screaming thinking about that matchup lol. Good call by Jenkins and Adams looks 5 years younger this season which bodes well for us.
Also BC looks way better with the media this season. First three seasons it looked like he was gonna faint sometimes.

This team has a defensive rebounding problem. The reason teams can go on runs against us is that we don’t kill possessions.
Really need to fix that up I thought in the GSW series Looney and Wiggins got lucky against us grabbing those boards but I think it’s a legit thing. Really need to improve in that area the most.
Anyway really like how Dillon has been playing the last couple of games so big ups to him much more controlled performances.

No Jaren, no Ziaire, traded Melton, let KA walk and battled further disruptions to the squad. Perfect storm for us to be sub .500.
Hasn’t been perfect but we are better than expected.

Today I learnt that the Wizards G league team affiliate have by far the worst sports team name I have heard of ‘Capital City Go Go’.
