WHERE WE KEEP ALL QUOTES: https://LetsGoWarriors.com

QUOTES/NOTES/TOPICS:

• Donte DiVincenzo (hamstring) practiced today but no live contact. He won’t play Monday against the Kings, targeting a Friday return against Cleveland, per Steve Kerr after Warriors practice today. (CJ Holmes)

• Steve Kerr on the Warriors’ 0-5 road trip: “There are just times in the NBA season where things can go off the rails.” (NBCSBA)

• On Jonathan Kuminga: “JK will be part of the new rotation…I’m excited to play him,” but Kerr won’t tip his hand on other upcoming changes, such as where exactly Kuminga will be getting his minutes. (Dalton Johnson, Kendra Andrews, Madeline Kenney)

• On James Wiseman: “It’s gonna take a lot of reps and time. But I see a really talented young guy who’s eager to learn, who is committed to the team, who has overcome an awful lot to get to this point, dealing with his injury for over a year…modern life is unforgiving. People don’t take into account organic growth and everyone wants results right now…it takes a little bit longer for big guys to adjust to the NBA game…no doubt longer term he’ll will be a really good player.” (Madeline Kenney, me)

NOTE: From Golden State Warriors practice, day before Sacramento Kings. We will go live on Mon 11/7 at 6:30PM PDT for the live chat of SAC-GSW and commentary during the game, which tips off at 7:00PM.

  2. People need to CHILL on Wiseman. This is his rookie year, as far as I am concerned. With the depth of the team, all that matters to me is he stays healthy and improves as the season goes on. I believe he is still sub-50 games (at least sub-75 games) OUTSIDE OF HIGH SCHOOL.

As for Kuminga, I am pumped he will be getting more run. He needs minutes.

Bottom line, the outlook has NOT CHANGED a bit in my opinion. Wiseman will be fine. Kuminga will be fine. Dubs will be fine. Haters can talk to us again come playoffs, when games ACTUALLY matter. "Bottom half" standings teams worry about games in October and November.

  3. The Wiseman hate is so outta pocket. And really it just shows the difference between fans who actually watch every game and ones that look at the stats only. If you are a highlight person, that's totally fine, do you. But don't contribute to conversations you know nothing about, you gotta watch the full 48 to know how much POTENTIAL Wise has

  4. I respect Steve Kerr A LOT! His humility, expression, knowledge, beliefs, and character speaks volume on why this team has reached dynasty level and continues to fight to stay there. If we can just accept each other as we are and treat others honestly for reasons of shared unity, we can see the fruition of our common goals and the establishment of our common values.

  5. Come Steve! Put James and try him a stretch 4. He can get that mid range jumper over anyone. He can help grab those long rebounds. What the hell is organic growth? 😳 😂

  6. James struggling? How about the whole team struggling? Try mixing up the lineup and add bigger players out there

  7. You put your best players on the floor. In the case of Wiseman, you have to make the most of your opportunities when they are presented. Championship rings don't lie. Go Warriors Go!

  8. Coach, please train Wiseman to play 4. he isn't strong enough to play 5, Coach! 🙁 and please sign Carmelo to help Wiseman with positioning in the post. this young man is just out of rhythm compared to rest of the team.

  9. I HONESTLY THINK THE DEATH LINEUP SHOULD START THE GAME ALONG WITH POOLE (STAYING IN), WISE, DONTE, AND KUMINGA, TY JEROME OFF THE SECOND UNIT 🔥🔥🔥. I'M SURPRISED THEY HAVEN'T STARTED THE DEATH LINEUP YET…BUT I'M SURE THEY HAVE THEIR REASONS. MOODY, AND KEVON ARE GREAT WITH PLAYING WITH ANY UNIT 🔥🔥🔥.

  10. It's not about, what we do now, it's about winning enough, n at the same time, getting young n old ready for when it counts most, not that it doesn't now, but,,, it's about how we can finish at the end….. THESE babies need time to know it's about making it happen, not about what there doing Now, because there not going to do 💩, if they don't understand that, what there doing Now, will not work later…

  11. I really enjoy watching James and feel eventually he may have a decent NBA career, however, at this time, playing for the Warriors is not going to be a great fit. So, in the event GS could acquire an equal trade, they should definitely go for it. Better chemistry would definitely help.

  12. Big men have always developed slower than the rest. He had very little college experience and 40 games his rookie season 2 years ago. We are 10 games in and u all expect him to be up to speed with the rest of the league?? I do agree it’s frustrating to watch sometimes but he needs his reps and we need to give him some actual time. And u can’t deny some of the flashes that show he can add another dimension to our team

  13. McClung should of been playing for the warrior's PBJ should of been playing as well , McClung I believe would of make difference for that team only if they had given him a chance it's a shame they let him go

  14. Best Players other than the starting 5 so far? .. TJerome, Moody, Poole…. not that much from the rest of the guys so far. JK will be there hopefully. Hope for some surprises of guys we have not seen much yet. Wiseman is far away still, that's just how it is. He will need the full season to get closer to what they need from him.He has the size, has the touch. But his reactions are slow, looks lost at times and his defence of presence has been underwhelming. I think the critique on him is so harsh, because the expectations been too high. He is still a baby in terms of NBA play.More crucially the two veterans added so far have been a miss. Definitely not close to a replacement for the guys that left. If they want to compete, they need a better bench. Every champ has had a deep roaster…Patience and hard work.
