Scottie absolutely needs to be more aggressive when Siakam and VanVleet are out. He is falling in love with the 3 too much and not attacking the rim enough.

Yeah it sucks that Pascal may be out for awhile, but we have well assembled team that is made to absorb the loss of an injured player. We have a bench hungry for minutes. Next man up!!! As for putting OG on Doncic, Doncic decides who he wants guarding him. He seeks out a favourable matchup. If manage to get the switch quickly enough, he simply asks for a screen and boom… he sheds our best defender. …Too easy. Give credit to him, he is practically unguardable this season. He's a genius at drawing fouls and it helps that he gets the "star" treatment from the refs. PA did about as good a job defending him as you possible can without fouling, and he still made some ridiculous shots. The Mavs' defence is not impressive but they have their fair share of tall, lengthy players, as we do. Doncic's stats alone is more than the combined stats of 3 or 4 of our rotation bench players outside of Boucher and Precious. Allowing us to get down 19pts late in the game, we make it near impossible to be able to come back playing 5 on 8. They made the right plays when it counted and deserved the win. I tip my cap to them. It's time to go slaughter some bulls… Go Raps!!!
I don't think Siakam will ever reach MVP level, his ceiling is probably All NBA first which pretty damn good. He's not a household name type player like a Giannis, Curry, Lebron, KD and now Jokic. I hope this injury doesn't kill his momentum. I think when he starts hitting game winners he might starting getting some more respect on his name.

Siakim is having a great season …all star and all nba once again. However the top 5 / MVP will be tough for him. Top 5 players in the league don't allow their teams to go on 5mins plus scoring drouts while on the court. Top 5 like Giannis Luka Curry Lebron etc those guys can get Buckets whenever they want 🤷♂️. Starters: Barnes, Trent Jr, Anunoby, Porter Jr and Koloko. Top bench minutes: Achiuwa, Boucher, Banton, Young and Flynn.
It's a long season. I don't want them to rush back when they're not fully recovered.

I'd like to see both sit out as much as possible for the immediate future. The one criticism I have about Nurse is he hands out playing time poorly to the detriment of the overall product. We need to see the entirety of the bench and give them a CHANCE to accommodate into their roles.
It's good chance for the other 3 young starters play without the other 2. If we ever want to be contender we need reliable 2nd and 3rd options. If 1 or 2 of them can be a star players with PS then we've better chance. Scottie is the one with most potential out of those 3 and hope he will be more aggressive early in the game.
I would expect Siakam back in two to three weeks. Any other timeline would be surprising

Scottie's game has been great but not scoring until 4th quarter does not cut it. He needs to get more aggressive scoring
