Deandre Hunter would be a good trade for added perimeter defense. I'm sure Huerter would love to be reunited with him. Hunter's perimeter D has always been rock-solid, but his offensive aggressiveness is also picking up. The Hawks have 2 young first-round picks from Duke at small forward, so maybe Hunter is expendable. If the Hawks are looking to dump more salary (like they did with Kevin), Hunter recently signed a 4 year 90 million dollar deal. I really like Deandre, but after watching the Hawks for the past 3 years (I'm a Terp/Huerter fan), he has somewhat underperformed for a 4th pick in the draft. But like Huerter, maybe a change of locations would be good for him. Trae Young's spotlight casts a huge shadow, and it's probably easier to shine being out of that shadow. It was certainly the trick for Kevin. He looks like a solid 20 point scoring option for the KIngs.
I'd trade no one right now. But Sabonis needs to start averaging 20 points per game. He's struggling but he can do better.
