Killian as the lead PG off the bench is just not getting it done. He just should be better, plain and simple. I've defended him and made all the excuses in the world for him for 2 years. But I can't anymore, just can't. He's developing too slowly, his lack of production hurts the team. His negatives outweigh the positives he normally provides. There are G-League players out there that can help the Pistons more than Killian at this point.
We want him to succeed, but at this point he is a bust. He's being given every opportunity to show up with a contract extension , playing time and a vote of confidence from many of the fan base.
The Nonsense continues. PLEASE EXPLAIN how Killian was THE BEST PLUS MINUS in game 2 at the Bucks, and the 2nd best at plus 7 in the first game at the Bucks? To claim he is is a LIABILITY is NONSENSE. In that 2nd game at the Bucks, he playes TWENTY TWO MINUTES, almost HALF THE DAMN GAME. That is not some phony little 4 minutes at the end of the game stat, this is near HALF THE GAME, ans the difference for that HALF game with Killian on the court the difference between the Buck and Pistons was ONE THREE POINT SHOT, ONE!!!! I have asked several content creators to explain this, yet I get crickets. The starters in that 2nd game were all in the MINUS 25 range, yet Killian, PLAYING NEAR HALF THE GAME, was only Minus THREE points, ONE SINGLE shot of difference between the Bucks and Pistons, HALF THE GAME. To claim the he is a DETRIMENT is just dumb and shows that you kids doing these shows don't know crap about the league, You don't know that, DEFENSE MATTERS, great passing MATTERS,. If Killian only shoots 1 for 3, THIS DOES NOT HURT THE TEAM!! It just means more shots for others. WE DONT NEED KILLIAN TO SCORE. If he took 3 shots a game and Played defense hard and good passes, THAT IS A POSITIVE, NOT A NEGATIVE.
So yep, I have no problem letting him go to the G league for a stint, and you know what, let's see how the Pistons overall defense numbers get FAR worse. We are already the worst defense in the league, and you want to get rid of our best defender, ARE YOU KIDDING WITH THIS? We already have too many guys that need to shoot as scoreres and they dont play any defense at all. Get rid of our best defender for a while to the G league and let's check out how our defense does while he's gone, that would be fun.
So, I ask again, SOMEONE EXPLAIN THE PLUS MINUS with Killian in the 2 games at the BUCKS. EXPLAIN HALF THE GAME Killian played that we were down only ONE SINGLE SHOT while he was on the floor that half game where the starters were DESTROYED and averaged like minus 25. Explain please, that's not some phony few minutes at the end of a blow out, thats near HALF THE GAME!!
The kid has always lacked the confidence and toughness on the offensive side. That weak ass floater can’t save you when you can’t beat your man or make a three. Everything is broken. Even his passes look unsure.
Killian needs to experience some success in the G-league for awhile to build back up his confidence… CoJo a better player at this point
I honestly think that the Pistons taking two guards in back to back drafts placed him in a bad spot regardless of his stats. But I think the pistons just don’t play the style of ball that suits his game. And if we do end up letting him go eventually I think he’ll have another opportunity elsewhere and may succeed more than his time here in Detroit.
The entire bench as a whole has been ass offensively. Not just Killian. Once bags and burks are back and he has actual weapons around him it will be different. We seen he can whoop on g league talent against okc last year. Ain’t a damn thing he can learn from the g league. If they wanna send him down there on off days for reps then fine you can do that. But no way in hell are we gonna give cojo all the back up pg minutes are you crazy. Do you not pay attention to how the game slips away when he’s out there, because he’s a liability on defense. Kills job is to play defense, and find his open teammates. Which he has, they just ain’t hitting shots. Wish y’all would talk about our bench unit as a whole instead of talking about one players struggles when the entire bench unit is struggling to put the ball in the basket. Talk about his game but you only talk about ONE side of his game. The offense 😂😂😭😭 you bring up how Duran plays defense and how it makes a difference but won’t do the same for kill. These expectations, are from fans. Not the team. But the FANS.
Where's Saben Lee when you need him?
They have never sent killa hay to the G league, but they sent Saben Lee and he played way better. Pistons would have did better to invest the playing time into Lee.
Coaching is his problem….Casey is the worst coach in the NBA. To save this kid he needs to be traded….to save the team we need to get rid of the coach

Killian is lacking confidence offensively which has effected other parts of his game. I don't believe sending him to the GLeague will have positive long-term effects. Could it be that Killian just isn't this new breed of scoring PG? Yeah its hard to watch him struggle when we see physically what he is capable of. Question becomes when does Casey lose confidence in having him in the rotation?

He's been an absolute trainwreck. Maybe stick him in the G league until it's time to tank for Wembanyama or Scoot. I don't think we should give up on him yet but he's forcing the Pistons hand.
It's gonna sound crazy but I think starting him could help. I think he pairs well with cade defensively because of their combined length. Cade, Bojan and Saddiq should be the emphasis on offense anyways. I believe Ivey could pair extremely well with Hamidou despite the lack of shooting(coming off the bench I see this as less of an issue) and also you could throw Bojan in that line up to help mitigate that. Another thing is last year obviously Killian was at his peak when he switched from starter to bench player so I'm wondering if he needs that experience starting to give him the confidence to play on the bench. I don't think he's worth trading at this point because he's arguably the worst player in the NBA based on TPA(a stat that measures +/- standardized on playing time), and if I'm right about him being a confidence player, moving him to the G-league might not work either.
If I don't wanna watch him in the NBA why would I wanna watch him in the G league lol. I wouldn't watch him if he went back to college
Enjoyed the show as always gentlemen. I think it's time to ship Killian and not look back! He goes out of his way to pass, pass, pass. Its appears to be mental cause he was playing real well in preseason.
Killian does not have NBA Talent if he goes to the D-League and they attack him he's really going to be broken he will totally be exposed then D-League players are trying to win a job they're going to come at him like a vulture
Chilean is still working on things on average 15 year old that's all American can already do can't go left it's confidence level he's just got to look in his eyes and he know he can't play he and is over in over his head Killian knows this but he's trying to hide it as long as he can
I like Killian, but this was really Weaver’s only L as a GM. But I hope Killian can bounce back
When you guys realize that Troy Weaver is is one of the main problems there are so many young teams finding ball players from everywhere we got these outdated one-dimensional players either you can play defense and can't shoot or you can't shoot and you try to play defense I lost this field with this Troy Weaver is a flop

The problem with saying you'll ruin his confidence sending him to the g league. Who cares? He gains his confidence back and what gets back to a 30% shooter? He still is an awful shooter. I had some faith because I was like hey he can't be any worse of anscorer right? RIGHT?
I don’t know if Killian is a naturally confident person which is a problem
