Just sucks to know this was winnable.

  2. PurpleFonduMan

how much harder could the announcers be trying to jinx KD?

  3. BushidoBrowne

Former Cam doubter….I have been somewhat humbled.

  4. guccigirlswag

Love how hard we fought. That level of commitment and desire is nets basketball win or lose

  5. Seriously though what’s wrong with our 3pt shooting? Getting plenty of open shots.

  6. High-coRolla

Kd it’s not your fault. Ben Simmons it is your fault

  7. throwaway_5256

Here is my rant lol I wanna die

We need a to get an actual coach to scheme something for 4th quarter offense. With Kyrie it’s just endless iso with him and KD, with no Kyrie it’s just double KD and watch the play fizzle. Yuta could at least shoot and handle the ball. Ben Simmons was supposed to fill that role but he’s doing fuckin nothing and Kyrie isn’t willing to be the outlet or something

Also everyone points to our defense but even when we play good defense something goes wrong. So many possessions we play good D and someone makes a tough shot or we just give up a rebound. Again we just lack discipline and hopefully we will start getting lucky with 3pt shooting.

Our roster just has too much missing to really compete. We’re paying a max to Kyrie to get suspended and a max to Ben to get picked on lmao. Patty, Seth, and even Joe a lot of the time are not contributing much relative to their salary if they’re not hitting shots. How many players on this roster are actually consistently playing their salary. KD, Clax, Yuta, Royce? That might be it honestly.

The thing is we’re not playing bad, we barely lost this game, we are generally losing to good teams, and we are consistently creating leads. But that almost makes it more frustrating that we can’t put it together enough

Defensive effort is admirable. You wonder where this has been…ever lol.

But these offensive sets are brutal. We need a coach. KD getting blitzed and doubled every possession and there wasn’t a single noticeable adjustment.

  9. I’m ready for a new head coach

This team’s offense is more predictable than a Hallmark movie

Those extended cold stretches are *killer*, we seem to have at least one every single game

  10. pinchyfire

Look on the bright side. Triple double for Ben: 2 pts, 2 rebounds, 2 assists!

  11. shammgod_10

JV with situational sub noh? Unlike Nash who will stick to his closing line up. But KD missing his 2nd FTs just hurt. SMH

  12. Nail biter of a game to watch. Time to dominate the Knicks next game.

  13. yezzdaddee

It sucks to lose but the guys never gave up. What a time for KD to miss the FT but almost won that game.

  14. Greynevermatter19

Atleast we made that a close game. Off to the next one

  15. Royce should have tried to shoot. Oh well.

    Good Game

  16. DeeDavisGG

Man. We have to stop playing Seth until he’s 100%, Ben has to be better. Like what’s his purpose?

  17. mweint18

Really started to see the short rotation on the 3rd game in 4 nights on the road in the fourth. The team fought hard. This team needs to stay healthy and build rhythm.

  18. walswals

That was good intense basket ball.

We missed Yuta & so many open looks.

    On to the next.

  19. depressedpr0phet

Simmons legit serves no purpose to this team and has zero trade value. We’re kinda stuck with him

  20. birdentap

Ben’s minutes were wasted. Losing Yuta and KDs perf FT record in the same night hurts

  21. placidpat

great game. only disappointed we let them go on that 14-0 run in the fourth, which seems to always happen.

  22. We always have these spurts of 5-7 minutes where we just don’t rebound and play way too loose, and it always kills us in the end.

It’s like we can only play 43 minutes of good basketball and that’s it.

  23. Hexitrap

Hurts but still a good game. Now we hope Yuta is okay.

  24. depressedpr0phet

Ok the JV honeymoon is over, get Ime in now

  25. New_Weather_7611

I don’t mind seeing the back of Doncic for the rest of the year. He is so fucking good it’s annoying.

  26. -ChowMein-

if we didn’t let them go on that 14-0 run we would’ve had that. Oh well, but honestly solid coaching by Vaughn tbh

  27. outbackjesus8

Can we please send Thomas to the g-league or something. I’m so sick of him shooting us out of games, and getting tunnel vision and playing iso the entire time. You’re not Kobe dude, pass the freaking ball

  28. SwishBreak

We played a really good first and third quarter. As per usual we choked in the 4th with stagnant predictable sets and iso ball.

Whoever our next coach is NEEDS to make Ben Simmons a more integral part of this team so he’s not just standing around while the sets play out around him. I don’t even care if he bricks right now, just run him some plays

    Also prayers up for Yuta

  29. Shoddy_Ad7511

Crazy how well we are playing with TWO max player contributing nothing.
