[Dane Moore] Asked Rudy Gobert how he would assess the Wolves ability thus far this season to shift defensive coverages from when he is on the floor compared to when he is off the floor — and his answer, I thought, kind of tapped into what we’ve all been feeling about the defense as a whole.

The only reassuring thing about how we’ve played so far is that we can be *so much better*. Which is good and bad – we’ve had no shortage of issues on both sides of the ball, but there’s hope that it clicks on defense which would lead to winning more games.

We don’t have much more time to figure it out though. It’s already 11 games into the season and Finch is still trying to get the players to give effort every night. This team needs to hit its stride sooner rather than later if we want to be anything better than a play-in seed.

Gobert saying this gives me hope, I’ll say that.

This is just one response but I’m hoping goberts professionalism will be huge for the team in the long run

It’s been such a consistent problem for so many wolves teams
