As a lakers fan and as much as I agree with the take. Lakers management is not trading lebron as he’s on the verge for breaking the all time record in a lakers uniform.
Why isn't anyone talking about firing the coach? Yes, it's not a good team but is it a 2-8 team? Even if you don't think it's coaching, firing the coach is a much easier thing to do than to trade star players that have low trade value right now.

Tim Legler is that dude, he does not play favourites and engage in the worshipping of any specific players like the rest of the media does. He called out one of the glaring problems with a LeBron James trade – whoever he goes to would be a mediocre team, so why trade your young players and picks for that?

Denver may pull the trigger for MPJ and some picks. LBJ, Jamal, Jokic, KCP, Braun. Bench: Hyland, Brown, Gordon, Smith, Jordan. LBJ gets to compete for another championship, LAL get a young scorer and picks, trade AD and Westbrook perhaps to Chicago for Vučević, Lavine and picks. Chicago clears salary cap in 2023 tanks and hope to get no 1 pick, as the way they are built right now, I don’t see them going anywhere. Problem is, given AD’s and MPJ’s health concerns, I don’t see this happening.
