Kings have not yet figured out how to play 48 minutes of Basketball. You cannot let any team back into a game, because Kings are not that good a team to continually close out games.
To me being competitive is a good sign I watched the Cavs 2 years ago and the timberwolves and they were in the process of building a lot of close losses, now both those teams have taken jumps. I think we are on a good path, my concern is the roster construction Sabonis isn’t a shot blocking big and cant really anchor the defense like a true center, we also dont have a lot of long lanky wings who we can stick on people. Oh yea also back to my first point about the Cavs and Wolves they have constructed better rosters well for the wolves “had” because that gobert trade isn’t looking good. Generally I have a good feeling about this team and it actually feels like they are building towards something.
