The Jazz Are Surprising Everyone | The Mismatch | The Ringer

The Ringer’s Kevin O’Connor and Chris Vernon discuss the Utah Jazz, who have surprisingly climbed to the top of the Western Conference. Will this hot start eventually fizzle out or do they have what it takes to be serious contenders this season?

  1. trade:
if you were allowed to trade win-loss records, danny ainge and rob pelinka would agree to this trade in a heartbeat: lakers trade westbrook, 1 1st round pick, and their win-loss record to the jazz for conley, clarkson, and their win-loss record haha

  2. Watching the Jazz beatdown on some pretty good teams (Timberwolves, Memphis, Clippers) is like seeing a guy in a solid gold suit get taken down by a dollar's worth of pennies in a sock.

  3. No one expected Utah to be this good, but it really shouldn’t come as a surprise that they aren’t one of the bottom feeders. They got several solid veterans in Conley, clarkson, and olynyk who are all used to playing winning basketball and a guy in markkanen who we all knew could be a 20 and 8 guy if given the opportunity to be a number 1 option. People need to remember that only front offices tank. Players and coaches want to win

  4. They're the fish that saved Pittsburgh lo😃l The perfect combination of guys at the perfect time……… Probably not all Pisces though 😁

  5. Y'all should check out the video of these dudes RIPPING Markkanen just 1 month ago lmao called him irrelevant and said Franz Wagner was a MUCH better player right now.

Dude's only putting up better numbers than Zion and Trae, noticed they didn't say anything about that here 😂

  6. Feels a bit like the Wizards last year. Started really well, but ultimately ended up nowhere. I think Ainge would be getting really worried that they are blowing their chance at Wemb or Scoot.

  7. Most of the star teams feel like they can sleep walk through the season and the jazz are winning just because they all play hard all the time
