I recall he admitted that he partied too much after securing the 🧧. And he was supposed to be part of the package to acquire Amaré Stoudemire. The picks we eventually had to attach to get rid of him became Rodney Hood and Josh Hart.

Yeah, the day *before* that he was such a good player. It had taken Biedrins a few seasons to get up to NBA speed but when he finally did he looked like our center of the future. Rebounding monster.

Used to be a fucking double double machine!!!!
I still don’t know what happened
You cant just all of a sudden forget how to play

I still blame Don Nelson who was a shell of himself chasing the all time wins record for coaching.
The main issue though was Biedrins just flat out couldn’t make a free throw, got in his own head, made it worse and became unplayable.

I remember him forgetting how to shoot free throws, which seemed to completely kill his confidence and his game just fell apart

I always thought of a really weird conspiracy that right after he signed his contract he passed away but had a twin brother. His secret twin brother knew nothing about basketball but impersonated Biedrins and played real NBA minutes just to get the money for that contract.

He played with a core injury that needed surgery to fix. Similar to the one that Lillard had. Probably partied too much while on the mend and was never the same after.

Just should be a picture of Ben Simmons. Exact same scenario. Got the yips, afraid to shoot or get fouled, will be out of the league in 2 years.

The weirdest game in the warriors/biedrins era is undoubtedly [this game](https://www.basketball-reference.com/boxscores/201011260MEM.html) in which, during the middle of his years long stretch of forgetting how to play basketball, he drops a freaking 20/20 game, and then immediately goes back to forgetting how to play basketball again
