If we’re in a tight defensive game late in the 4th.. I’m just gonna say it. Maybe Trae should be on the bench. Especially if his shooting’s off.

  2. Bad rotations, Trae was bad, and Justin holiday cares more about his headband then getting a rebound.

  3. fore0fore

Very winnable game, not too upset about the result though. Saw some good, some bad but overall positive trend through the first 11 games.

Very bad loss . Not because of the opponent , I think Utah are legit good but because we found the formula in the 3rd to blow the game away but the team just stopped mid game. Rotations were awful and shot selection was trash. The league is too tight this year to drop games like this . If we lose tomorrow on the back to back then our record is average again. We simply have to win games where we have leads . If we don’t then we can expect to be middle of the pack again . Which is the most boring place to be in the NBA

  5. I think Trae needs to be a little better. 10-28 today and didn’t get a whistle to help offset the inefficient shooting. He is shooting 38% for the season

  6. mrmercenary10

Some of those lineups Nate put out in the second half were very questionable. Especially when we were ahead by 10 near the end of the 3rd quarter. In about 2 minutes that lead went down to 1. And that other run the Jazz had, why in the world did Nate not call a timeout earlier and change the lineup up? That was awful. Called the timeout a full minute late

  7. ATL4Life95

If we beat the 6ers tomorrow night, this loss will be a meh. At least to me lol.

  8. TraexPitts

Malik and Lauri hitting 6 threes each is crazy

  9. primocheese1947

Outrebound and have 15 more FGA than the jazz, but lose because the jazz made up 27 points on three pointers. This team needs more shooting. Bogi is going to help when he comes, but they will still need more. Murray is the best three point producer on this team. And that’s shocking.

  10. Conundrumes

This was a game that was defined by the difference in 3 point shooting.

  11. The bench just wasn’t clicking today and that probably lost us the game. Oh well, we move

  12. Matt_Smiths_fanboy

Turning point in the game felt like when we were up 10 and playing well and then Nate calls a TO

  13. Chessh2036

Like a lot of people have said, Trae is a huge liability when he is as cold as he’s been. DJ meanwhile has been everything we’ve asked for and more.

  14. AUBALLER

The Jazz are legit. Very balanced and deep, multiple guys that can get a bucket, which is hard to guard. They’re balanced in a way that reminds me of the 2014-2015 Hawks team

  15. Gonza6EUW

    Fuck you, Nate.
Tired of this Rhyno shaped human head, being saved constantly by the inspirstion of individual performances! Terrible managment.
The schedule ahead is Terrible for us. I can sense a 2-8 incoming already.

  16. streetsandshine

Man what can you say? Malik Beasley was peak Klay Thompson. Their rookie was Rudy Gobert 2.0. Lauri was Larry Bird. THT was what Lakers fans thought he would be.

If they can actually stay that good, they can be a good team… at least until the playoffs come around

  17. pk-pk-pk

The hawks meltdown in the end of the 3rd quarter is the only hawks I know of under coach Nate 🤦‍♂️

  18. clarkbuddy

Trae is *such* a defensive liability if hes not being a top 5 kinda scorer he hurts us bad. The rest of the team gets tired making up for him on D. we do not know how we could have played them with a different package but im worried it would have been another big W without Trae i know thats crazy conspiracy type shit but man its hard to watch trae on the defensive half

  19. Tough loss.

    24 – 11 FT discrepancy.

Jazz shot 44% from 3 with 17 3s made. We shot 28% from 3 with 8 shots made.

A 27 point differential off of threes alone, a losing recipe in the modern NBA.

Nate should’ve put Clint in sooner in the 4th.

We clawed back in the 3rd and made it competitive, but you can’t overcome a cold shooting night and horrible refs.

We beat the best team in the league 2 nights ago and we gave the 2nd best team in the league a good fight.

    On to the next.

  20. everythingaboutmusic

The floor and ceiling of this team relies on trae to be better than whatever the fuck he’s producing out there right now I think he knows that better than anyone

  21. mrmercenary10

Trae and DJ had too many TOs and bad shots. Especially Trae, that whole first half was terrible for him. The third quarter was great but Nate put out some questionable lineups and didn’t call TimeOuts when he obviously should have.

Clint was the only guy that played lights out tonight. Maybe JC too but his defense wasn’t the best.

  22. jabiztownspaceagency

That white boy can shoot (although this ain’t new since lauri torched us in the play-in)

  23. SamuraiNeutron

Dejounte needs to hold Trae accountable

  24. TraexPitts

we really need to win these games against these top teams

  25. BeingJohnZoidberg

Start of game – DJM, Trae

5 minutes left – DJM comes out

Start of 2nd quarter – DJM in

6 in 2nd – Trae and DJM on floor

    Start of third – djm

6 mins trae comes in dj comes out

Start of 4th – DJM on court

6 mins, Trae and DJM to finish.

Feels like to me nobody has enough time to get a rythym going, but even worse. Everybody in the NBA knows our fucking rotations and can gameplan around it.

I can’t believe an NBA coach being paid Millions does this.

  26. Boraismybae

Nate is too stubborn with his rotations. If the lineup isn’t working you gotta sprinkle your starters in earlier. Stop waiting so long to pull the trigger

  27. ramenoodlearms

The issues with this team seem really fixable. They give up a lot of open threes because they crash the paint to help on dribble drives way too hard. They don’t shoot enough 3PT shots. They don’t get to the FT line nearly enough. All these things can be changed with some tweaks in the philosophy of the coaches and players. Will we see that improvement? I fucking hope so.

  28. Halfgridd

Jazz remind me of that knicks movie with whoopie goldberg.

  29. Leading-Opportunity7

we don’t make a lot of threes, don’t take a lot of free throws, dont get to the basket and take a crazy amount of mid range shots- we need Trae to shake the rust off for this brutal stretch of games coming up

(If we had to drop this game to embarrass embiid tomorrow though I’m here for it)
