Lineups were god awful tonight. Especially after time outs. Inexcusable.

Zion is never in long enough to get a rhythm going, and even when he’s in, nobody seems to look for him or get it to him in spots where he can be the most successful. He is NOT A POST UP BIG, HE IS A SLASHER! Get it to him at the top of the key and let him go to work! Look what happened in the 4th when he actually got touches!

We continue to look lethargic defensively unless Jose and/or Herb are in the game.

CJ is having a terrible shooting streak and is refusing to accept that. Still taking a shit ton of shots, it’s ridiculous. Dude needs to learn his place.

Jonas not getting enough touches, BI too passive at times, free throw troubles, the list goes on.

Willie got out coached and that’s starting to become a trend. We had no right to win this one but BI is thankfully HIM and DeRozan choked. Really not looking good so far for a team with this much talent.

We gotta get our shit together.

BI and Zion both insane in the 4th. Z at the start and BI down the stretch. Love to see it. Now do that more in the 1st – 3rd Qs. Closed out a close game on the road. This one feels good. Back at it again tomorrow for the Josh Hart revenge game.

  3. KikkomanSauce

BI and Zion combined for 27 in the 4th quarter. That is the fucking good shit. Theses dude really gonna be dominating for years to come.

  4. jacobythefirst

Bulls would just NOT go away into the night gracefully.

They put it all out there but we held on and won.

  5. Crazy how we stop underutilizing our superstar players and we win. People need to learn their roles. Team unity is cool but hierarchy is important. Zion set the tone first half of the 4th and BI went stupid the clutch. Offense should run through them 2 at all times

  6. _Wado3000

Super thankful for the win, but do better tomorrow Coach Willie

  7. I feel like CJ needs a night or 2 off to recover his finger. He is not performing well

  8. Leadingusalong

Found a way to pull it out. This team has *a whole lot* to figure out, and as of tonight there hasn’t really been any indication that the change might be coming.

But it feels a little better on a night when you win despite that. Hopefully they can work these kinks out

  9. Agreeable-Fig-1132

Imagine if the team makes a conscious effort to get the ball to Zion and BI at all times. There is zero excuse for not running the offense through your best players. It’s not rocket science. I’m so sick of this equal opportunity offense bullshit. Willie has a lot of work to do with his coaching and rotations. He’s getting outcoached every single night and it’s inexcusable for a second year coach.

  10. ENProcess

Clutch in the end but I’m just glad it didn’t go to OT

  11. TurboS54

Refs and BI save the day.

Takeaway: Willy should not be getting minutes over Jax. And the main Willie needs to not put 4-man bench lineups out there without Ingram being the starter with them

  12. crazypelsfan

BI and Zion came through when we needed them most. JV and the bench kept the pels in the game. Also my boy Herb coming through with the ft’s. Pels W feels good 😎

Zion and BI were poor for most of the game and CJ was poor all day, we didn’t have nance, we were playing a playoff team on the road, and yet

We won. BI won us this game with his heroics late and I still do believe Zion can come back to that guy I watched a few seasons ago if used correctly

  14. Razor-Ramon-Sessions

Yo Willie, my guy… Get this shit together.

Holy shit 3-19 from 3?!?! We need to get some 3pt shooting man. We’re fucked if we can’t score from 3.

  15. SUKnives

Willie is lucky he has this much talent to coach on this team…

  16. Speedevil911

That’s probably one of the best 4th quarter stretches of BIs career

  17. shahsnow

I’m a couple quarters behind but glad to know things work out for us in the end 😂

  18. DaggersKnuckles

Zion and BI need to be getting more of CJ’s shots. I remember CJ was on the injury list for a PIP sprain in his shooting hand. Wonder if that’s why he’s been so bad since then because this is abnormally bad for him

  19. volzovio

6-5 after 11, should’ve been 7-4 or 8-3 but it’s okay for now, still plenty of things to iron out but the body of a good team is there.

BI huge late along with Z.

  20. BobMarleynthewhalers

It took Willie all year to finally play Trey meaningful minutes last year and i feel he will do the same for Dyson. He has to let that pride go like vets is all good but we are trying to win games we cant compromise these minutes because vets. so frustrating sometimes.

  21. rockmusic83

Did BI just say we were shit on defense? Did I mishear or ? Ha.

  22. AnotherStatsGuy

I’ll take 6-5 through these 1st 11 games after everything. Now they have 39 home games to 34 road games over the rest of the season. This team showed severe signs of emotional fatigue. Maybe CJ needs to take a game or two off for that finger.

Next up a 6-game homestand of a larger stretch of 8 out of 10 at home.

  23. Substantial-Wall3654

Zion, BI, and Derozan bailed Willie Green TF out down the stretch. I get Lance being out makes things difficult but goddam some of those lineups were indefensibly putrid. Cannot wait 3 months to realize putting the ball in our 2 best players hands and let them do what they do best, instead of letting our little guards hog the ball laying houses of bricks all game, is what we should always be doing.

  24. viacavour

“We were still shit on defense”

    -BI

    😂

  25. tulsuduke

Big road win against a talented team.

Turnover notwithstanding, DeRozan is one of the best in the business. Herb took his licks but came up big in the end.

    CJ for DPOY

Shouts to BI for saying “We’re still 💩 on defense” when Jen was interviewing him post game 😂

  26. ENProcess

Dw when we get Wembenyama this team will 3-peat

  27. SpaceAfricanJesus

Going 3-19 from 3 and still winning has to feel good at least.

Zion and BI dominated in the 4th. Zion got the spark, and BI cashed it to the bank. That’s what you want to see from your stars. They still needed wayyy more touches early even with BI in foul trouble. I also thought Zions defense was better specifically in the 1st and 4th quarter. BI had some really nice defense especially on the boards.

JV had a good night, we don’t win without him.

Herb came through in the clutch. Played as well as he could against Demar and Lavine, no easy tasks.

Still have no idea why Dyson doesn’t get minutes.

Finally, idk what’s going on with CJ but it’s gotta stop.

Now the 3 of 11 games at home start is over. Let’s build back some ground with some home games.

  28. Zion starting the 4th pissed asf and his domination showed that. BI is literally HIM and Herb and spICEs clutching those FTs (The 4th was intentional, shhh).

  29. SpeedracerFr44d

This was ugly, but we got to see BI and Zion be stars in the 4th.

  30. Tyschurr

Glad we got the W, but Willie Green’s got his work cut out for him with figuring these lineups out with Zion in the fold. Idk whoever tf writes those 3 up, 3 down posts on here, but Willie Green’s call in the third quarter to kill our momentum up 11 by pulling the starters needs to be the no. 1 option on the down part of it.

  31. flaccidplatypus

Willy needs to realize at this point putting Zion in the post for 75% of the game is not utilizing him correctly. JV was big in the first half and Herb looks back into his rookie form finding slashing lanes and playing D. BI coming in clutch after that lackluster start.

  32. We shot 3/19 from three tonight…good lord. Thank you BI for turning up in the fourth, because ain’t no damn way.
