Look at what Utah is doing. A very smart GM and a very good coach. amazing what having competent people in those positions can do…smh. meanwhile Cuban and comp are a complete mess. imagine how bad Cuban would look if he didn't have luka covering up his dismal moves as an owner.
Bullock really terrible. Can't shoot. Can't defend. Too slow against fast guards like Suggs and too small against Bamba or other Bigs.
When Mavs finally got 3 level scorer other than Luka Kidd benched him lol. Would laugh when C. Wood leaves and sign to other team. Idiot Mavs benched him lol, thinks they a championship big market team like GSW. When in reality they are a middle of pack average team who got dragged on to the WCF by Luka and JB.

as much as I like Brunson when luka went down and Brunson was running the show, Brunson also had porzingis who put up monster numbers as well while luka was hurt. but they don't have Brunson or a 7 3 unicorns so when luka sprains an ankle, were gonna see just how bad they really are.

I'll say this – I don't think you lay enough blame on luka here. To say that he needs to hold the ball as long as he does, he needs to make the tough shots and tough passes that he does, or he needs to bring the ball up the floor or get the ball off a handoff in 90% of the possessions he's on the floor just for us to win – I have a hard time believing that. Its also a disservice to the talented players on this team. I am not saying that he doesn't need star power type help to win a championship, but we also have to consider what the optics are like for those kinds of players. The eye test cannot be appealing and I can't think of many stars that would be willing to play the type of selfless and deferent basketball you would have to play with Luka. He's my favorite player, but its clear that he enjoys the kind of offense that keeps the ball in his hands. I'm sure many of you will disagree, but I think it does matter in thinking about the future success of the team.
I'm fucking done with Bullock's bullshit. I mean you are being paid to play one whole season, it is bullshit to just show up on last half/quarter of it. It is such a pain in the eyes to see him barely scoring 5 per game in 30+ mins of playing time.
My thing with everyone saying "gEt a sEcoND StAR" we're NOT gonna get a 2nd star anytime soon because no team is interested in our assets because they have little to no value.
So my plan to improve this roster with limited assets is to trade for Turner & Buddy. First of all… STOP BELIEVING OUR PICKS HOLDS ANY VALUE, THEY DON'T!
Now.. my idea of the trade is THJ+Bertans+Mcgee+2 FRPs (maybe a 2RP) for Turner & Buddy
And I think this could work because it helps Indy tanking, plus more draft assets.
Why we should want them is because Turner is a top rim protecter, can space, grab rebounds. Buddy is just helps replaces THJ inconsistent shooting with top 3pt shooter in the league, 2nd to Steph Curry. And if you have any problem with Turner & Buddy woes or the amount of picks then I suggest don't even watch games because that mindset leads to failure. You can't win without risks and Turner & Buddy are definitely an upgrade over THJ, bertans and Mcgee!
This kind-of game where energy is off and something is not clicking, Kidd needs to try something different. Bring in Hardy, Dorsey, anything to try and make an impact. If it does not work take them out. Try anything to change the dynamic… but nothing
energy on the 4th is non existent, i think luka time should change 4th quarter is where he should be entered early or start the 4th so he can get his rythm to close the game

Luka must be an only child, because when things don't go his way he pouts and throws tantrums. He yells at the refs every single play. His game is incredibly advanced for his age, but he really needs to work on his attitude and leadership. It's games like this where the shot isn't falling that his leadership could have made a difference. Kidd has to talk with him about this, but I don't know if Luka could handle the criticism. They walk on eggshells around him
Players that can dribble and create their own shots thats what were lacking
It’s fairly simple Dallas Mavs Fans the front office really dropped the ball big time when we didn’t extend Jalen Brunson contract last season. Dwinndie played well tonight but that was by design from ORL coach Mosley he wanted to put length and disrupt Luka rhythm and force him out of the paint which is why Luka shot 11 three pointers. This team is built on “ISO” ball except Luka won’t be able to hold up 82 games without getting injured or exhausted and Dwinndie is notoriously injury prone or inconsistent. The front office needs to package THJ with Mcgee or Powell with a 1st round pick and go after another playmaker/scoring wing.

Mavs got killed on the boatds,, and with that and everything else mentioned Mavs were still in the game until with 6:30 to go in the 4th they went 4 minutes without a point. You can't go cold at the most important moment of the game.
