I’m sure you have all heard the Wizards started 10-3 last year. This article from last year discusses how well early season records predict a team’s final record. Thought some might enjoy

    TLDR:

    – Vegas preseason predictions are a much better predictor of where an NBA team’s end record than the first 10 games of the season
    – It isn’t until game 25 where a team’s record becomes a better indicator of end of season win rate than Vegas preseason prediction
    – The best indicator from the early season is a team’s point differential. By game 18, point differential is a better indicator of a teams final record than Vegas. 13 games in and the Jazz have the 2nd best point differential in the west and 4th best overall

We play the wizards next. They lost Beal and lost their mojo after. I don’t think that will happen to us. That game will be good to watch
