better than average compared to all the releases. Look at the one from the warriors lmfao

A clean design, but very basic. Modern jerseys seem more designed for casuals. The dino jerseys got nothing but hate until about 10 years ago when they became popular again. When we initially transitioned to red and white as our main colours a bunch of people celebrated as well. Nothing beats the cartoonish 90’s fashion in my opinion though.
GumpTheChump
The City of Toronto has a unique TTC transit font and an Honest Ed’s font yet they still haven’t been used. This is negligence.
InternetDecorum
This jersey is weak. With the budget and best designers, this is it? I guess they just assume we will buy anything.
Fuckyafakenews
As a person that dose not like flashy ass shit these jersey’s are awesome.
Pitiful_Glove_9081
I don’t care if these are “better than average” when the average is so low. Slightly better than awful is still pretty poor. They haven’t had a nice City jersey since 2018. Just plain facts.
NBAball05
I miss the curved Toronto logo
cursed-lie
I mean.. better than the chevrons.
Yakerrrrr
I love the text going around the arm sleeve. truly wish they took more of a risk and tried to show off the culture, art, history, etc. behind Toronto—but for a minimal, modern jersey, these are solid.

I know we just get New Jerseys every year, but let’s get some kind of rotation going to we don’t get boring, or shitty jerseys.
New City jersey every 5 years, new statement every 2-3, new Championship edition after each franchise’s win, etc.
Stop just releasing new jerseys each year, or just release one new jersey each year instead of 3,4 or sometimes 5.
simonvonc
Basic and boring, but I like that we are leaning more into the city than previous years. The trim idea is especially sick. The boroughs idea could have also been cool if you could actually make out the shapes better and they didn’t look like random blotches.

Ok… can we get off the Drake themed shit?
JohnnyFootballHero
I dunno about that map camo…

Fucking weak
bokchoy_sockcoy
They certainly are

I thought it was solid black. I don’t hate the dark patterns on the jersey, adds a nice aspect. Hate the font

Don’t mind but can’t believe Phoenix incorporated Indigenous representation into their jerseys before us.
AnySail
Pretty bland I think. Has nice details and cool ideas but you just cant see them. Would’ve liked the font to reflect the city somehow if that’s what the focus of the jersey is.

Ugly af.

They’re nice. But I miss the days when NBA jerseys actually had a logo of your team’s name (ex: Rockets had a rocket, Raptors had a raptor) now it’s just spelling it all out in diff fonts.
_Gourmand
I wish the Raptors brought back the purple. Until that happens every jersey looks boring and average.
MediumBeam
Nice but boring, at least it isn’t an eyesore

New….
MCSpacy
Underwhelming, but then again I actually liked the City Edition Jersey in 2017.
elcabeza79
… fine.

Mid, the raptors don’t have one good jersey
BowlbasaurKiefachu
Love the concept of a jersey finally saying Toronto, but it shouldn’t be the only criteria to earn it as a passable jersey. Also, it’s incredibly overly lit up for this photo because you can barely see the boroughs in black on the jersey overall. My ideal new city jersey would have the Toronto word with any former logo, sans chevron
ragesinsimlish
I actually like these
ehdotgee
The designer of these is definitely quiet quitting
HappySmileSeeker
Are those supposed to be African countries as the design?
Fluffytheman69
Literally the jerseys from like 2013-2020… just black and gold

No they are not
Not sure about this one, I like the idea behind it, but not sure it’s a good looking design.
I think I have to see it in person before judging it more.
Are those puzzle pieces on the jersey or what lol
painfully bland
NBA needs to move on from Nike
The shadow should have been the old Raptor grabbing the ball, but super sized. Then this would have been a 10 for me.
Raptors 2022-23 Election Edition****
Fixed their typo
Idk, I like them. We don’t have many “Toronto” jerseys.
And the design in the background… are those the different boroughs? That’s kinda neat.
For everyone complaining about these, take a look at the Warriors’ new City Edition jerseys: https://twitter.com/warriors/status/1590726572129931264
