Coach Nick went deep into the footage to figure out why the Brooklyn Nets so abruptly fired head coach Steve Nash. Was it because of Kevin Durant? Kyrie Irving? Or his inability to mesh Ben Simmons’ talent with theirs?

  1. Hey Bro you still had about 3mins of this 7min vid you could have filled up with another advertisment

  2. I'm back here to tell the people who said Nash was the scapegoat. WE WON BACK TO BACK WITHOUT NASH AND HERE'S MY TWO MIDDLE FINGERS FOR Y'ALL. Without even Kyrie and Simmons. Nash was holding back the Nets. He even held Cam Thomas. Now look at Thomas now when Nash left.

  3. Kyrie retk teams.
    Simmon's a write off
KD've got nash free from shitstorm.

  4. Crazy how comment section and this vid pretty much says Nash was a scapegoat. Yeah their effort was bad the firsy few games (doing pretty well since Nash got fired), but his rotations were awful, ingame adjustments abysmal, zero to no challenges. Never forget waiting till game 3 of last years playoffs vs Boston to put in Blake Griffin and not playing Aldridge at all, giving KD all minutes without putting a big body on Giannis a couple playoffs ago. Not playing Cam Thomas this season whos balling like crazy. Steve Nash is a horrible coach and probably didnt get respect for a reason. Without Ky and Simmons today, they put a closing lineup of KD, Cam, Yuta, Oneale and Harris. Nash would never be smart enough to do that. He most likely would have closed with Patty Mills smh. He just cant make decisions based on whats necessary based on how the game goes. Pretty much outcoached every game and was sonned by Udoka and Budenholzer the past 2 playoff series. Nets are dysfunctional but a kindergarten student can tell Nash was damn awful

  5. It's better for the Brooklyn Nets to trade KD and Kyrie start over . It's not fair for the fans the ticket buyers . Dealing with this 2 crazy individuals for 3 years now it's not Fair.

  6. Since you've got this soap opera out of the way. Im hoping to see a quality bbbreakdown video like you used to very soon. Would really love to hear your opinion on how talented the league is right now. Cause I've been following the nba since '99 and I think this is the most talent I've ever seen.

  7. Imagine someone coming to YOUR JOB. They are allowed to be in your face the whole shift while being able to scream at you. On top of that, they get to wear clothing that insinuates you're a bad person for something you didnt even say.

  8. A nba Coach can say all
These good things to help his players but at the end of the day he’s not PLAYING soo u can’t really blame him for all of nets issues

  9. Steve Nash is only great in offense but defensively he is worst. Take a look when he is still playing in PHOENIX, they cannot defend big 3 of Spurs, that is the result of system of coach mike d'antoni, the same system steve nash implemented in Brooklyn

  10. Nash was pretty bad in both playoffs against Bucks and Celtics, he didn't make any changes until it was too late. They don't have defense for the paint, they trust the young Claxton too much. They look like they need a separate defense coach.

  11. “He was despised and rejected— a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief. We turned our backs on him and looked the other way. He was despised, and we did not care. Yet it was our weaknesses he carried; it was our sorrows that weighed him down. And we thought his troubles were a punishment from God, a punishment for his own sins! But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed. All of us, like sheep, have strayed away. We have left God’s paths to follow our own. Yet the Lord laid on him the sins of us all. He was oppressed and treated harshly, yet he never said a word. He was led like a lamb to the slaughter. And as a sheep is silent before the shearers, he did not open his mouth. Unjustly condemned, he was led away. No one cared that he died without descendants, that his life was cut short in midstream. But he was struck down for the rebellion of my people. He had done no wrong and had never deceived anyone. But he was buried like a criminal; he was put in a rich man’s grave. But it was the Lord’s good plan to crush him and cause him grief. Yet when his life is made an offering for sin, he will have many descendants. He will enjoy a long life, and the Lord’s good plan will prosper in his hands. When he sees all that is accomplished by his anguish, he will be satisfied. And because of his experience, my righteous servant will make it possible for many to be counted righteous, for he will bear all their sins. I will give him the honors of a victorious soldier, because he exposed himself to death. He was counted among the rebels. He bore the sins of many and interceded for rebels.”
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭53:3-12‬ ‭NLT‬‬
This was written around 700 years before Jesus came into the earth, yet it describes His life perfectly.
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16
God loves you so much and showed that by sending His Son to die for us so that we may inherit eternal life. We deserve hell but He gave us heaven through faith in Jesus. He took the punishment we deserved and by putting our faith in Him we can be saved. The Key To Eternal Life:

  12. They fire a character like Nash and keep a character like Irving. Nets are going down. Plain and simple.

  13. I feel like Nash is one of those coaches that kinda assumes that everyone should already know to do the effort things like rebounding so he feels he shouldn't have to emphasize it.

  14. BS(BEN SIMMONS) also B**SH* 😀 HAHAHA he should get atleast minimum for next contract like 800k or 1M

  15. I think Mike D’antoni would’ve been the better option to coach this roster yes their defense still would’ve been bad but their offense would’ve probably still won them more games

  16. Hi, just a heads up you should probably look into the Hebrews to negroes film/documentary before commenting on it as hateful as that is a complete misrepresentation of a documentary that sheds light on black origins.

  17. The Narrator of this video is disingenuous with the content in video. Narrator appears to Be Passive Aggressive by Nature the way he expresses the content plus low key subtle jabs. So he starts off polite and kind once he got you with guard down strikes like a scorpion or snake. Not once the Narrator describe or disclose how Nash was and is at least good for the job.

  18. Feels like Nash was the scapegoat. They clearly had no heart and it seems like they didn’t care. But I also think Nash wasn’t too upset to be outta there

  19. He had the difficult task of dealing with maybe the 4 biggest head cases in the nba in Durant Harden kyrie and Simmons. Their lack of success was not his fault imo.

  20. I know the Nets are not a defensive minded team, which reflects Steve Nash because he was not a defensive player, either. However, he did not deserve to be fired because he has a winning record. The NBA is not like the old days where coaches did not get fired a year into a job.

  21. i hope nash gets hired by another team and that team gets good. it was really unfair how the nets blamed him for their lack of success.

  22. KD was right, both Nash and Marks need to be out. They both suck. People gave KD heat and rightfully so because he chose all these clowns but at least he saw the error of his ways.

  23. Players empowerement in the league has become out of control… Not to say they should just stay quiet and play but you gotta respect your head coach. You might not like his decision but a sport's team is not a democracy.

  24. A bunch of egomaniacs never worked. Team and mentality always supercedes individual skills. Fact.

  25. I mean, with respect Nash always said in his interviews that he wasn't an x's and o's guy. That he was coming at this more as from an interpersonal specialist while having had Marks' friendship for 20 years.
