Lets quit overating this roster. It is built off udfa and role players. I mean cuban and company. Have had bad rosters for years and ignoring the draft. And overating their role players damn it.
Luka should slim down a bit, so he's not gassed up. Look at his belly! That's where it starts then the rest will follow.
Simple theme in all Mavs losses this season are they have allowed so many points in the paint. Currently getting destroyed.
Feel likes lukas minute changes could be vital, we know he can make 4th quarter shots but he's always tired by them now and only plays half of the 4th, In the third and first quarter he plays every minute and gets in a rhythm usually, I say let him Start hot but don't play him the entire 1st quarter, maybe 1-2 mins taken off the end of the third aswell and he should be more fresh for the entire 4th, also letting him get his rhythm
Mavs are so far:
30th in rebounds per game
30th in assists per game
In my opinion those stats tell us they didnt fix the rebounding woes and they lack offensive teamwork.
Add to it 22nd in points per game

I might be biased in my opinion because im argentinian, but luka could aliviate some weight by playing some minutes as 2 with campazzo as 1. He's a p&r master, but then again he's the 15th player of the roster…
Reason for losing: Luka had bad game…. coaching not brave enough to take Luka off for while and add HArdy, Campazzo to match for few minutes for Luka to bring his mind together….
Reggie and DFS may not be THE problem but they definitely are part of it. They can't score at all.

If Miami keeps losing we should go for Jimmy imo it's not working there in Miami and Jimmy is getting older. THJ, Wood and Reggie are not a bad trade for Miami I guess. We'll have Luka, Spencer, Jimmy, DFS and Maxi as starters. Terry Rozier is also rumored to be available so Mavs should try to get him. This will not be enough to move deeply into the playoffs but next year we can add a few more role players to make a championship run.

I blame Kidd. It's his job to get the most out of his players and not blame them.
Good job, Mavs got a fuck ton of untradeable contracts and their coach chasing C.Wood out of the team (one of the 3 players who can create their own shot in the team).
Oh there is other one Jaden Hardy, but they plan on giving all the minutes to their starters playing playoffs minutes. Luka is already tired 11 games in, keep it up.

No need to panic (yet). Back to back, Luka is tired, and the team has a semi-new identity post-Brunson. 20 games in, if they are in the run for Wenbayama, then I will be worried 🙂
It will be ok Luka will be ok. But i have seen Luka play for 4 years it's either 1 0f 2 things. Luka just diesnt bring his game against the bad teams. Or two Luka is the toughest player in the league and plays through a lot of injuries. The slip in the Dallas game maybe did hurt him more than he showed he was missing layups which he doesn't. Shooting will come back but that doesn't usually happen.
Accidentally spoiled the results. Gonna skip this one on the account of not wanting it to linger in the back of my brain during the weekend. Just like Luka's streak, my own Mavs game watching streak has ended. Let's hope next week is better!
1. Luka keeps saying he needs to stop complaining but it never happens. When does he actually get to grow up? It's year 5 already.
2. 2nd year Jason Kidd is a real thing. Bucks fans have warned us about it.
3. You can't rely on anyone to play hard and with effort on this team even just for 2 straight games. (Except for maybe Josh and Dwight)
5. McGee and Campazzo are a waste of money and roster space. Big blunder by the front office.
6. Spencer and Luka complaining non-stop is not gonna suddenly make the refs get on your side, it has the opposite effect actually.
7. Bertans and Frank need to go, it's just dead money at this point.
8. The Mavs don't even have to face a great team to lose, just put them against a bottom-feeder team that actually plays hard for 48 minutes and somehow they'll lose.
9. God awful interior and perimeter defense.
10. The offense is just A. High pick and roll dive or pray for an open shooter for the kickout, B. Stand around while Luka does something, C. Iso into terrible shot. It's so predictable.
11. This has to be the only team in the league where only one player can take and make a mid-range shot. And I think that's ridiculous.
12. Wood signs here > Wood becomes bench player > Wood plays great > Wood deserves starting spot > Mavs head coach does not give him starting spot and throws him under the bus > Wood declines extension > Wood signs somewhere else > Mavs back to square one looking for Luka sidekick > ??? > Profit.
13. Luka has his 3rd tech in 11 games. Three. He's on pace for 30 by the season's end. That is unacceptable honestly.
14. It's hilarious how Daniel Gafford is so much better than all our centers combined. And he's coming off the bench for Washington.
15. The Mavs are 30th. 30th, last, bottom. In the league in assists.
16. Replace "assists" in #15 with "rebounds".

Some MAVS players are playing below every level and far beyond expectations. Considering how much they are paid, in one word – CATASTROPHIC. Maxi, DP, THJ, Reggie, McGee. We will not lose any more words about Jason Kidd's way of managing and preparing for matches. If Luka plays below average, the end result is only one and that is LOSS. It's time for a change or Luka will say goodbye to Dallas.
