Our guest this week on The Old Man and The Three podcast is OG correspondent and future NBA All Star (that’s right)… Tyrese Haliburton of The Indiana Pacers. In this clip, Tyrese breaks down subtle inbounds play against The New Orleans Pelicans that JJ absolutely loved (and so did Rick Carlisle).

JJ with a golf hat and a troubadour sweatshirt…wonder if he plays or something
who was the guy in the indie rock band?
I was at this game….Tyrese Haliburton is special. The Pacers a really exciting young team to watch.
0:58 omg he gave coach the dap when the ball was still in air 😂😂
Haliiiiiii
I’m still upset the Knicks took obi toppin over Tyrese😭🤦🏾♂️
Make Ty and all star
I watched him a ton in the early Rico Hines runs and he did a good job not showing that he worked on his shot off the dribble.
What band was it?
Pacers always gets these type of guys who just ball out every year. hope they keep these young guys together
From Pittsburgh here love NBA but no team. I have players I really like and root for but I've never been loyal to one team but I really like Tyrese and his game. I think I am jumping on with the Pacers as my team as long as he is there anyway. Having McConnell helps to as he is one of the players i root for!!!
6’5 Chris Paul!!!!
I LOVE the actual analysis basketball talk new basketball media has brought to the space. ESPN, to their credit, has a long history of doing this with Football but rarely with basketball. Glad there’s now somewhere for this kind of dialogue.
Who would I guys rather having going toward? Tyrese or Cade Cunningham?
Shout-out Sameer Gadhia from Young the Giant for that shooting analysis of Tyrese Haliburton.
Wtf that wasn't special 🤣 so overrated trash.
Best passer in the league
how did u get this camera angle
I'll never understand what the King's thought process was trading him
Was it a a good read or just bad defense??? I’ll say it was bad defense! NBA still lacking fundamentals and trying to sell it as great offense, so sad!
Tyrese is flat-out BALLING this season.
Averaging 22 Pts 10 Asts 5 Rebs and 2 Steals on 61 eFG%. He definitely deserves to be on the All-Star team this year if he continues putting up these numbers
KYLE LOWRY DID THIS PASS TO OG FOR THE BUZZER AGAINST BOSTON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That cross pass looked like lowry to anunoby game winner in the bubble
from the still image of this video, i thought jj reddick was interviewing peedi crack for a second
Tyrese has been great man really a great player
Awesome breakdown, please make sure we keep getting these!
Need more Haliburton
Love Ty, humble guy and just goes out and balls for us
All star for certain but that’s really the floor with this kid. The pacers are in a really good position with him and Ben in the backcourt.
If the pacers keep this team together, they’ll be kings of the east within a few years.
Dang sun's could have had this guy…but noooo they took sticks and let traded him for torry Craig?…..young gun would have been perfect
He's gonna be great!! I mean he alr is but he gonna be an all-time great. hope man makes the all-star team
Tyrese it's in another level bro
Just to see the progression of the friendship between the Pod and Ty and see both of them progress career wise is heart warming to watch
He’s been very consistent…for my parlays. Keep up the good work.
I've been asking for years why don't "players turned analysts" on TV dissect plays like this?
Wonder who the band was haha
love his game, one of my favorite players right now. perfect example of someone who makes his teammates better
I really really like this kid’s game.
Man, I wish Lakers get rid of these old guys in the team and get young, smart, humble, and cerebral players.
if that blows your mind , go do something else! he is a pro baller, offcourse he has to see that wtf?
Been telling people this his ball IQ is insane especially for a young dude.
